something i just found out by accident: Specifically on the Homogenise table, when the table turns green, if you spam click it, you will actually get a double boost and make the potion faster. I dont think thats intentional, but it works 100% of the time for me right now. Does not work on the crystalise table though, and ofc your supposed to spam click the concentrate table anyway.
Not sure if Jagex modified the points since this guide, or I'm just not nearly sweaty enough but the estimated unlock times for the items I'm finding extremely far off from reality.
You're not talking leagues are you? I haven't seen them adjust the point values again, though it's always possible. Haven't been monitoring the news posts suuuper closely with all the leagues stuff going on lol.
@YewJackOSRS No, main game. It took me the better part of a day just for the goggles. I think the rates below 81 herblore when you get the mix a lot and double lye potions are much slower. I'm currently at 75. I like the leagues content, but I avoid playing it myself because I think the wild xp rates would ruin the main game for me at this point being mid game on my main.
@@Canuckrz Ooohhh, yes. All of the rates I show are with all the potions available. Anything less than all of them gets significantly slower. It also skews the points since you don't get a lot of... Mastering Mixology is in Varlamore. It is the first building north of the Bird Transit to Aldarin (the southwest island in Varlamore). You'll need 60 herblore in order to access it. You also need to speak with the NPC next to the stairs before they'll let you walk down there. Once you are level 60, then yes -- you can use this for leveling up. It won't be as fast as making normal potions, but there are league points associated with the rewards so you'll probably want to spend some time here anyway.
Curious how people like the chugging barrel... It seems very niche to me considering that anglerfish and Imbued heart are part of my pre-potting... So really its only saving me drinking one potion dose.. the only saving grace I thought of was conserving super combats by stocking the barrel with super att, str, and defenses as well as range pot for 4 potions total. Could mitigate torstol use since we use those for antivenom++ now as well. Any thoughts? I know some people without Imbued hearts forgotten brew into menaphite remedy or something like that for magic boosting, that could be useful in chugging barrel too but again extremely niche.
I personally don't do enough prepotting for it to justify the cost in points/time spent. I think ideally it is saving some clicks (it's trying to be a QoL thing). In practice is it that useful? Maybe not. at best it saves you 5 clicks when banking. That's where I think maybe the people doing a lot of b2b high lvl pvm content would get some benefit from it. That is probably a very niche case though. I don't have an imbued heart myself, not that it would change my opinion there lol.
That and you are prioritizing better potions in general. Since you only make 1 and will always make the best one from the bunch. Edit: It's really only the triple resource pots that hurt you (MMM/LLL/AAA), but you also will get more Mix A Lots (MAL) since you are doing more orders.
I was so excited to get potion storage as an ironman, the bank space was invaluable to me.... but as ive been using it for a few days ive honestly found it to be more of an annoyance than a blessing. Its made regearing for pvm awkward and clunky, and its made my inventory setups plugin much less useful. Im hoping that the plugin can recognise whats in my storage and take it directly from there eventually, but until then its actually irritating me and i kind of wish i didnt get it. Awesome video though, very well made. Kudos. If i had a question for you, it would be this: How do the new changes affect this, being that you now are incentivised to make all 3 potions for the bonus points, but in doing so you end up with way more M and A points than L, and your forced to make the bad triple potions. Do you think the single potions are still the way to go unless you get 3 strong orders?
My testing was done post the % point boost change, so what you're seeing here is reflective of the current state of the content. Full invent is the way to go unless you are worried about resource efficiency. Triple potion gives better points than single but xp is about the same -- probably because of those triple potion and less MAL's coming around since you'll do overall less orders. And ya, the potion storage is weird. I really dislike that I have to open it first to deposit my potion stuff and then go back into the bank to do the rest of my setup lol. They did already update it once last week, so I'm sure they'll keep tweaking it over time. Hopefully it'll get worked out to a point where it is actually nice to use.
