  • Running is more than just reaching out and pulling yourself forward. Don't make the same mistake I made when I became a pro runner and over stride!
Doing so can lead to injuries and pain, so make sure to monitor your strides and stay healthy while on the run!

I’m 5ft tall so when I first learned this and adjusted my stride I felt like I was taking little tiny baby steps. But, I got less tired and eventually got faster and can run more miles. “Lots of little steps” is my inner mantra!

Adorable little steps at the adorable range of 4'9 to 5'3, nice, that is a lot of heart stopping power as onlookers gush in adoring the littleness 😅

That is precisely what people don't (want) to understand as overstriding is more aproachable for the lazy runner. This + stop buying heavy-heel cushioned-high drop shoes, and go for good cushioned but lighter and low drop ones, that would help you develop a good stride.

I am in so much knee pain if i do forward running. Hopefully your tip of striking mid foot and cushioning and pushing forward should help me run again without knee pain. Thank you

I love running barefoot on grassy/ muddy terrain. The more soggy and difficult the terrain, I find the more it triggers high knee lift and proper push-off. I equally love track running because it's so clean but you have got to have variation.
