Another interesting use case for Djinn is for permanent self revives with the mod sacrifice. I just feel like this option is a bit more "building for failure".
"Every sentinel needs to have a purpose. Djinn's purpose is consistency... ...Also, nothing he does is consistent because his stats and precepts kind of suck." More than the forgotten warframes, more than the MR Fodder weapons... Djinn (especially his precepts) is desperately in need of a rework.
It would be cool if the 'fatal attraction' mod converted an enemy to your side for X seconds, kind of like nyxs subsume But without the ability to increase its damage that way its not as good
Djinn; the boss taunting, former self-reviving (before pet passive revives became universal), floating flesh puppy. I used that for a while, but its niche is honestly just being the resident clown - not in a bad way, though. Helps keep enemy attention on you, and can punish the crowds that make the mistake of getting too close! Thanks for the video, though, Sea!
Hey man! Lovely video as always (: I wanted to ask if you could make a video about the Quatz. I got a riven for it today and that's the first time I ever heard about this weapon 😂 looked it up a bit and apparently it's fun and not bad
Djinn rework idea: -Thumper: unchanged -Fatal attraction: Djinn becomes invulnerable and forces enemies to attack it for 5s. After the duration, djinn deals viral damage in an area. Status chance and range increase based on damage ammount absorbed. -Reawaken: picking up an energy orb restores 50 shields(overshields too) to you and your companion, and reduces djinn's revive timer by 15s. Djinn revives with 100% overshield.
I was going to "well ackshully" you about Thumper having a longer range, but it turns out it just doesn't work at the greater range because my main sentinel weapons, Verglas and Tazicor, don't have the reach. It works just fine with things like Helstrum and Burst Laser. It's pretty inaccurate at that range, but it does fire.
Ah yes. The "other" Diriga. That 2x range slaps lol. Combine Fatal Attraction with Coolant Leak for ice procs on the incoming baddies. Also dont forget this sentinel has a unique Synergy with the Gazal machete, where they increase the damage of each other mutually with extra corrosive damage. Dont sleep on Manifold Bond- as per the wiki, Manifold Bond also shortens Spare Parts procs, meaning more loot. Very useful on all robotics builds.

Sentinel weapons can proc some Primary and Secondary arcanes. I use companions to trigger the cold/toxin multi shot and cdmg arcanes.
