I grew up in a very cold climate. Walking out onto a frozen lake in the dead of winter is truly magical. Makes the cold temperatures worth it. Sound and light travel differently through super cold air, and it creates such a unique atmosphere, especially when it's snowing. You can hear the flakes hitting the ground.
This is what I was looking for, this distant reverb as if it's right there but so far away at the same time. Giving the feeling of desolation and comfort, as if you are a tiny spec in the universe. 😢

I'm a piano player, I have a midi lead that connects to PC but no idea what program I should use or where I'd even begin software wise. Do I also need more external equipment other than midi?
@@Mr-Bare You have all you need, now you just need software (DAW) I use Cakewalk (it is free, and there are others you can choose from), watch some YT video how to set it up, it is not completely straightfarward. It comes with some sample instruments that are good to start with and play with, but they won't be enough for long, you can download "VST plugins", and add them to the DAW, they are basicaly virtual instruments, there are tons of really good ones for free.

No, I like them together 😅 also with the sounds it makes it harder for people to steal my work and repurpose the music... I know because it happened before. I had people stealing my work, selling it, and do copyright strikes on me... I have no trust in humanity...
I love this kinda desolate, cold places. The ones that are untouched by humans. Pure mystery 💜 Beautiful atmosphere, so tranquil 😴
