Botan is an FPS monster. No one should be surprised at this point. She gets rusty because she doesn't play as much but when she's in her zone she solo's entire teams or makes games like Resident Evil Village into comedies.
I think she doesn't have sufficient understanding about skills and every thing in this game. Last year or so, in battlefield competition, she was having multiple kill left right and center. If her teammates were better, they might have won.

As soon as I saw Botan and Astel in the line up for this event I knew there was going to be some CRACKED plays, those two are like fps highlight reels.
Don't forget Izuru, he's just as juiced. And the Stars as a whole were hella coordinated. Plus the less experienced girls showed potential to develop if they train, practice and participate more.

Seeing this from the girls pov, it looks like they have so much pressure and doesn't look like they're having fun, after izuru's stream ended i watched towa and towa being an overwatch fan that she is talks about how much she enjoyed the game and giving a hint to all the girls that she wants to do full party overwatch again but from the girls tone they're not interested at all
Makes sense. The newcomers felt the squeeze of going against a high-tier team while the experienced ones had the burden of covering for said newcomers. Things were more level for the Stars, there's less skill gap between the players.

Botan is like that one Person, who just chilling, around, being goofy and laughing in any problems, not knowing she's actually a Legend and a very experienced veteran. She may not look like it, she's having fun, but she can destroy you even if she's having fun.
Against derpy joe schmoes unused to serious gaming. Don't ever forget that she and her team were _washed_ by the Stars. Clean sweep. Botan and Towa played fine, but the others weren't up to the Stars' level. The boys are too vicious and too cordinated.

Timing is also a part of skill Imagine in Dota 2 where a perfect combo of Magnus ult > skewer > Techies field > Enigma ult > buffed Sven splash could wipeout the reds but a mistiming could jeopardize the whole thing & possibly get countered
as someone who has played overwatch this was a very lucky timing considering that astel has just panic used his coach gun, miyabi didn't use outburst to get out of danger and the both of them reacted a bit late to the dva bomb. Izuru failed to even notice the bomb in the first place.(or he just didn't know you can still use fade while in coalescence)

Overall summary for Holostars: Too cracked with Astel & Izuru carrying. No comments, they already professionals to begin with. Overall summary for Hololive : Botan FPS skills is a no secret, she already showed it in the game, Towa's best leading as usual, Chloe and Lui's potential and Irys was not feeling up her game but can become a good support.
Fair assessment. The Stars, Astel and Izuru in particular, are just juicers, and on the Live side, there's only so much you can do with two greenhorns. Chloe and Lui have potential but you can't beat ingrained game sense and unspoken team coordination.
They are actual pro level and semi pro. Then the other players are all around Towa's level. Maybe bring Selene she the best FPS player that's a v-tuber.

The Stars boys lambasted them. They're all consistently on a level to give Botan trouble, and sadly Lui, Irys and Chloe don't have the sense of game and coordination to set up a proper front to back tank Botan against that.

She had to be tank, because no one else in the Live side was good at the game enough to be tank in her place. It's always the experienced player that goes tank to keep a push or defense cohesive. Even then, it was such a diff that Botan had a worse K/D ratio than the supports of Stars. Nothing she could do.
