I remember watching a compilation that showed off Botan’s fps skills. There was a part in the compilation where it looked like the reticle locked onto a target the way a bot does. I thought “no way” and played that part again really slowly, practically frame by frame. From there I was able to see that the reticle didn’t lock on, in fact it was very barely on target a few times, and that Botan was making very quick, very small adjustments while while shooting to stay on target. She was making movements that were so good, it practically looked like a bot if you were to see it in real time. Botan is freaking amazing.

There's no denying Botan's FPS skill. The real question is does her skill transfer over to real world shooting with real weapons such as paint ball guns in a military field setting with real experienced soldiers. I've seen gamers put up against real soldiers in such a scenario and it seems FPS gamer skills don't transfer over completely. In other words nothing beats actual real world experience no matter now real a game tries to make it feel. Nonetheless,it would be interesting to see Botan try her luck in such a challenge.
It doesn't transfer over the shooting, but depending on the game strategy can transfer. And there is also a video here on youtube where they took a japanese airsofter over to the US, and after he got used to the recoil, his aim and speed was on par and even better than many of the guys around. And many of them had prior law enforcement or military experience. So practice does train, even if it's not with a real weapon, but gaming doesn't tran handling the actual thing.
