to everyone in the comments saying "the U.S. denies entry to Muslims and Arabs all the time, serves her right for getting detained." No, no, no. yes, the u.s. denies entry to Muslims & Arabs and that's not ok. But Gigi's not the one denying them entry. Gigi doesn't deserve to suffer just because other Americans are wrongly detaining Muslims & Arabs.

Both are problems that need attention drawn to it, discrimination happens all the time to all kinds of people, so in stead of bitching about how there are bigger problems than her being held at an airport, maybe we should actually work on making this world more accepting for people that are not white, cis, straight an/or christian
