Pricing was revealed after we shot the video, for Germany e.g. it starts at 84.000 for the Diesel 30d and 86.000 for the petrol 40i, means 6.000 and 4.000 more expensive than the BMW X5 with the same engine. M50d will be at 110.000.
Double the prices for finnish market :(

it makes the other top of the line luxury suvs look bland, a stunning car, and judging by its brother x5, it probably also has seriously impressive performance
I think the 40i petrol will be the right choice for me ... Please make a driving review of the 40i

I was thinking from the side it's just a giant Benz GLK with a very ugly face.
This is a proper competitor the Range Rover, GLS, etc. I really like the exterior profile, but I let a sigh out on seeing the interior. Overall I think it will be well received. A great job by Autogefül!

This does not compete with Range Rover. This product is fat and out of shape. Range Rover are more firm and athletic. This is a competition to a Suburban.

Anardo Cuello You don’t know about cars if you think a piece junk called Range Rover is more durable than this car. By the way FYI, the x5 is the most sold SUV worldwide.
I don’t know about durability but the X5 is cheap and basic while the Range Rover is in a different class. People do not cross shop Range Rover and the peasant X5. Range Rover is all style and luxury, which is why it’s the #1 selling $100k+ vehicle in the US.
Love the anti tilting function, hopefully it helps to prevent aggression in the traffic ;D Review as always perfect!

The front of this was revealed a long time ago but I still think the kidney grilles are not in proportion.

Really don't understand why everyone hates it. The big grills look phenomenal. Very aggressive.
Why needs a car already so voluminous to look aggressive too? A Volvo XC90 is huge too but looks still distinguished in my opinion. Where is the Hybrid version? The bigger German + other cities in the EU are starting to get out all diesel engines
@@WACONimages True the Volvo XC 90 is a crazy beautiful car. But I think the X7 is the sportiest looking SUV right now. Guess it's just a matter of preference 🤷♂️. Some will hate this, some will love it.

I love the look of the car. And one thing I have note is that it seem BMW always look much better in person than in photos. This car kinda goes against BMW’s understated design and look. If you want attention you will get it in this car more that most of the competitors.

How come the design team felt satisfied with ANYTHING on the exterior of this car? The proportions are so wrong it feels like it was designed by amateurs. Objectively one of the worst designs on the automotive market right now.

It looks just like a minivan
I've got a Mercedes V van and there is much more room inside for the same lenght.
Can't decide from which angle it looks the ugliest lol. It's really one of the most badly designed cars out there right now, any segment, any price range. Totally wrong proportions, it looks unbalanced, too high, full of kitschy details, etc. BMW designers are losing their way.
I think the target market for this car enjoys all the kitsch and attention. It's like the Infinity, GLE, Range rover ragers from russian dashcam videos - you know the ones that run a red light park over 2 handicapped spots and take out an Ak47 if someone complains...

Totally agreed with you. But as we know the brand by itself will sell a lot from this X7 just because is BMW and one of the ugliest car on sale..
It's boxy so it's more comfortable. The min you try the sporty look lower roof etc it takes away space. With that being said this car is ugly

Very nice exterior. Classy and sophisticated. Interior same story and very well executed ambiance lighting. The m diesel would be my choice.

that's a great way of putting it. I think the side and back are fine, just the front is disproportionate -- it should have a taller hoodline and smaller grille imo.

BMW, Mercedes, Bentley and Rolls Royce seem to be in a competition to design the ugliest SUV.
Yeah ,I think the front looks ugly, The RR Cullinan looks like a brick on stilts, The Mercedes and maybe the Bentley Bentayga are starting to look good compared to these.
So does Lexus.

That is the ugliest Beemer I have ever seen or driven. It looks like an X5 has had the rear of an estate car (station wagon) glued onto the back. The kidney grille is ostentatious IMO. It strikes me that BMW designed the interior and spent about 90% of the design budget so they took an X5 and a 5 series estate and stuck them together. If I won the lottery to be able to buy one I’d insist that the grille was painted matte black. The inside of the X7 is something else, like WOW! I just dread how much this car is going to cost. Being able to sit 6/7, 1.86m people is quite some feat. I look forward to seeing the 7 seat variant and of course the real world driving test in "Thomas' Driving Lounge". But warn us to lie down before you deliver the cost of the X7 please 😜. I didn’t read Autogefühl's description and I’m writing this lying on the floor.
That center console and the gear shifter is stunning.Thats a very beautiful desing ive never seen that in a vehicle before.Looks like diamond.
