These layered glass works are analogous to making digital paintings in layers. I like the fact that the glass works are 3D objects, with 2 clear viewing angles and the layering process explains itself… a kind of painstaking development in which the creative magic is revealed to the viewer.

I was wondering the same thing. The edges are extremely smooth and seamless he's either having them heat fused (which might interfere with the paint) or maybe fused by pressure?
I work with metal (and sometimes clay) so my instincts lean toward heat...
