I remember telling myself I’d never spend money on skins on this game but a year later I probably spend around $200. My college degree better pay off. 😭
The feature i prefer in skins is the sounds effects, so i'm less likely to buy this kind of skins but for someone who care more about the visual aspect, this is a very clever way to get some skins
This is actually what I did, bought 2 battlepass . Luckily they're one of the best being Velocity + Lycans Bane and it filled my inventory perfectly. Recently I added a premium skin the Reaver Vandal and I couldn't be more happy.
Same, bro honestly I think the last BP I'm buying will be this season's. Velocity, Genesis and Lycan gave my inventory life, and this time I'll jist switch between the velocity and .sys axe.
Genesis gave me a really decent look OP, premium looking without the finishers.
ngl we all agree that velocity karambit is the best battlepass melee and also this acts bp that’s why I bought this bp and the velocity

I did something similar. Except I bought the ruination guardian and the oni phantom. Planning to buy the gaia vandal soon and by then I’d pretty much be set. Kinda going for a green theme for skye and I’m using the artisan sword from the battle pass, green variant.
For someone whose parents hate the game and won't let me spend any money on it, this hit close to heart.
I only bought the velocity battlepass with my saved money
One correction: the Free track guns are ONLY ever pistols. You will never get a primary with the free track.
Battlepasses are the way to go for budget players. 2 bps will basically guarantee you have skins for 90% of the guns. I got Ep1 Act2 & Ep4 Act3 and it gave me skins for all but 1 gun. (Ghost). The big thing you gotta watch for is making sure you get your primary rifle in one of the passes, since some passes only have one or the other.

this is a really nice and well made guide but id rather have just a few very good skins then a full inventory of battlepass skins but still this guide is very nice

Something died inside of me when you mentioned the ruin bundle with the ruin dagger. I started the game in Nov 2020, and at the time I didn't know about battlepasses. I let this amazing knife slip through my fingers. Oh well, I'll have to do with the velocity karambit.

Ironically this was exactly the strategy I used to earn skin. I was interested in the battle pass I liked, and spend the leftover points to night market or the market in general. Then I would complete the agent acts

Tip: just buy ur dream knife in the night market but theres gonna be a disadvantage cause if ur luck is bad well ur busted and if the discount is small also or just buy the bp like urnotjustin said

Guys you can change the account region to Phillipines from account page and get vp for really cheap - you can still play on the same region you play in too, it's a really good way to get all the skins for cheap
I’d love to see any gun buddy Easter eggs. Like the omen ghost and octopus colour change and apparently the kayo gun buddy opens on a gun. Stuff like that

I basically did this on my alt. Bought 2 Battle passes and a good OP skin and that covered me for all the skins so they aren't the boring defaults but I didn't spend the insane amount I did on my main.

also the free chapter reward capstone is always a pistol like the agent skins

I bought the Velocity battle pass, and then Elderflame Operator and Minima ares. Plus some free agent unlocks, I have a skin for every weapon except for the Marshall lol. I’ve spent more than enough money on this game though so I’m leaving it at that. Great video as always

The good thing about this is you don’t even have to get skins for weapons you don’t like, so for me, that would be ares, stinger, bulldog, and maybe shorty, so that is extra money saved. When you buy a battle pass, you will probably get skins for them, but if you don’t, then don’t get skins for weapons you don’t like/use
I did just this. Spend 35 dollars on VP, got the current battle pass and the one really nice skin with the leftover (RGX operator) but if you wanted to buying 2 battle passes is a cheap ez way to get everything because it’s rare for a battle pass to miss the same gun twice in a row
Close to what I have, I bought the battle pass for velocity, got the endeavor operator, and got night market origin vandel for 950 ish

I bought the velocity battlepass because of the karambit then I got oni phantom in my night market and now my collection has skins for almost all weapons in under 20$.
I didn't get the ruin dagger, was 1 thing away but then had to stop playing for a long time

i just realized i have the shorty velocity but not the karambit velocity, which means i played nonstop valorant for 3 months and forgot to buy the battlepass... lol

That's the only bp i ever bought and my inventory is all free skins and skins from that bp and I kinda like the Varsnish collection, it loooks smooth specially the Judge and Shariff
Maybe it just grew over me as i had no other choice than to play them (oh i did have matt black choice tho xD)
I honestly prefer just one evo skin of your choice of either phantom or vandal and maybe a spectre too because thode non upgradable skins don't look so good specially when it is valorant what we are talking about
$10 every 2-3 months isn't a bad investment imo. I've actually switched to another BP loadout yesterday and if you religiously played the game (then you should buy the BP imo) and finished all BPs then you could actually have some nice skins in your loadout like the the Aerosol or the Red Alert operator skins. Plus all the unsed radianite assuming you don't buy the variants could be worthwhile if you have plans of buying a bundle or skin in the future.
operator infantry is also a very good option for the Op, its my favourite op
you know, if in the night market you get a prime vandal or reaver vandal, maybe even the op? the discount can make the price cost 1047vp, if you buy the $20 vp bundle then you can get one of those as well as a battlepass for just $20!!!!

Tbh, Valorant really isn’t the game to buy skins if you don’t wanna spend too much money, Buying the BPs is 1000% your best option.
I’ve spent probably 1k usd and half of my skins aren’t fully upgraded and I have 4K VP points chillin on my account which I can spend for skins that I won’t be able to upgrade for at least 3 months since I gotta wait for a BP to come out for the radianite, the point is that skins here are so expensive, have to pay twice to fully upgrade one skin👍🏼
Best thing to do is buy reaver vandal, oni phantom, ion op ,reaver sheriff and if u have enough maybe a spectre smin
I just thought to get my self rgx phantom, prime vandal, oni op that's like the most used guns, so I have the best skins while I play valorant, better to just get some cash together and buy when you can, default skins are not a high level tho
In my country the price of 1000vp is 348 pesos/ 6.5dollars so its just 13 dollars so i can fill up every valorant gun
One time i got Prime vandal AND The Reaver Vandal in one night market and they were like 30% off

I personally think not, and I have heard them say they wouldn’t be. However if they were to ever do it it would entirely be limited and maybe even promotional in some way. But ultimately I think no, the bp skins have no tier so they cannot have a price technically :o

how about buying 2 battle passes, then you will unlock skins for every weapon like, i just bought the .sys (ep 4 act III) battle pass and im gonna buy the ep5 bp and unlock a guardian, op and ares skin (all spitfire)
