wow. this was so peaceful. the harp the singing and the views. I think the dancer was impressive. She was alot stronger than she looked, some of those holds. incredible. and I loved the whole remember a past lover scenario that seemed to be happening. all very romantic and mysterious.
The concept and creativity was great but her performance on the silks was not very graceful for most of its duration. Instead of being flowy and beautiful it was jerky and awkward
I agree with MachineGunMermaid. This was choregraphed, practiced, planned, filmed, and edited by somebody. Plenty of opportunities to reflect on whether or not dance over the smooth flow of nature in a not so smooth way. Props to her for being able to do what she can and posting it though.

Listen to the music and the story it tells and ignore the rest of it. The harp tells a story then breathe deeply and look at the movements. @Sarah The first time I tried silks I was already standing up and asking my instructor if that is okay to do so. After experiencing putting my foot on the material and touching it I felt odd. Almost like it was calling to me...I have been a dancer since age 3 doing ballet then hip-hop. Totally 2 different types of dance and I am good at it...I was always uncertain when doing turns and pirouettes. I felt odd and even tho my teacher said I was on par I didn't feel like it. I stepped into that silk and looped from below the knee lower a little and swung due to wanting to feel it. My teacher was surprised at my adventurous attitude towards it and I asked her to teach me how to perform. For the first time I felt 100% beautiful and strong without second guessing myself. I wasn't able to think what was I doing wrong and how to fix it and I am usually very hard on myself. I always like to stand back so when I put my foot and let other leg up I swing out and then I take a couple breathes as I let the momentum carry me. Actually there is a German word for aerial silks. It's called Vertikaltuch, look it up. And the title is both English and German so I'm taking a wild guess here and say that someone was in a bad mood and would have voiced a complaint about literally anything ;) Other than that; this video is weird... And the blending pictures are annoying. I can't concentrate on what she's doing at all

That was just sad. There was no show of how the figures were done, and that's because it's all sloppy. The silk shouldn't wrap around your leg, it should be under your foot to hold you. And whoever told you this video was good, definitely didn't know what they were talking about
