love your excursions. The market looked like so much fun and the food incedible!! Absolutely loved what you did with the stable doors, such a bright spot now. You have inspired me to paint my front door pink again!
Hi Ashley & Johnny...& Abernathy too! Love Johnny's shirt he was wearing at the food hall! I like the colour you painted the stables, it soft and romantic...also, I think, the roof tiles goes well with the colour as well...great job! You guys are such a sweet couple! Thank you for sharing, take care, stay safe! Much love Kathy x (Ontario, Canada)
All you need now is an old bicycle with a basket prompt up against the stable rrwall. With a plant in the basket trailing. And a climatis climbing the walls from a pot or two. Or hanging baskets, then you'll be sorted. Can't wait to see more greenery on the walls. It'll look rustic french then x
Love your vlog and blush pink makes such difference would love to come & help you am looking for place to volunteer as in UK at present visiting but cannot get back into New Zealand for few months love gardens, cooking painting whatever can do
What a fabulous Food Hall to have on your doorstep so to speak! Everything looks gourmet....so yummy. Oh by the way Johnny when you wear your mask, the white part is against your face and the blue is on the outside. Just mentioning not criticising cos we love you guys. Hi from Toronto, Canada.
Love your chateau! And the little green paint in pink is so perfect ! Wish I could get it in Canada 🇨🇦. Did the gold leaf come off the floor in the beautiful room that you did for chateau DIY ? :-( I just loved that that room . ❤️
Love all the food. We live in the Midwest in US and it’s nice to see choices in food. Here we are swamped with fast food. Ugh. Also love to see Abernathy. We are owners of two dachshunds. Love the breed. Always look forward to your blogs.
the food hall looked like a great place to go, well done on the stables will you be getting any horses? pls say yes Iv been waiting for one of the chateau owners to get one seems like such a waste when they have so much land around, I used to own 5 horses many yrs ago and miss the farm life so much.
The colour you've used reminds me of Suffolk pink which many old houses are painted in Suffolk! I'm hoping that you rubbed down and cleaned the shutters etc before painting otherwise new paint job won't last long. Will you be lime washing all the walls? Did you have to chat with the Marie (town hall) before you started any outdoor painting? Very jealous of your eating pinchos and tapas. 😎
I as a american love the wild and free look. I often wonder why french and english do clipped hedges. My thoughts were that it was because they were less work. But that is not the case. One must always trim. I know if i lived there I;d plant flower trees or something that doesnt require constant trimming. What would happen if you did not trim. they looked so pretty. lol such a shame to trim them off.
Like the blush pink color a lot! The wood that slants down and runs across the front would look good painted in a complementary light / pale green. You could also do like a paint wash on the walls in a very pale buttercup yellow color. It would enhance the "Italian" type of style & look that the tile roof gives it.
There is a Chateau outside BORDEAUX called Chateau Lagorce she is French he is Englush and their site is called Bordeaux Life they do weddings...your neighbors❤❤❤

Great teamwork, enjoyed your Bordeaux foodie heavenly treats. Project ‘PAINT ME PINK IF YOU DARE’ looks better than your average camp stud farm. Gorgeous shade of pink! Huge improvement. I can't wait what you do next
Love that colour. Earthy pink🥰How beautiful to see your dream/vision come alive Hard work but so beautiful. Well done👏
The shutters and doors look amazing but it made me feel like I'd paint the buildings themselves white to really make them pop xx ❤️ 😘
Yes, the entire building needs to be rendered … someday.
Gorgeous
Thank you so much, I feel as though I have traveled today. Awesome video!!!

Always wondered what the paint color was you've used on the chateau. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks! Dachshunds are the best, aren’t they?! Such funny personalities!
I really enjoy your videos, you’re a lovely couple. Would love to see more chateau renovating and decorating and antique shopping,
Beautiful transformation 💗
Did you paint the front of the shutters? :) Are you spraying the wrought iron fence black? It’s a beautiful color and looks amazing! :)
Loving the blush! Such a huge difference!
Maybe rehab the stables as studios to rent out to artists? You could host artist retreat events.
the food hall looked like a great place to go, well done on the stables will you be getting any horses? pls say yes Iv been waiting for one of the chateau owners to get one seems like such a waste when they have so much land around, I used to own 5 horses many yrs ago and miss the farm life so much.
Sunday morning coffee, breakfast and a new Chateau de Lomenie episode...:)
MORE FOOD!
Did you wash and sand the shutters

My last home in the UK was a 500 year old thatched cottage in Suffolk which was Suffolk Pink!
Yes, second coat is the true finale.
It’s amazing how much you two seem to do all of the work yourselves! Do you ever use volunteers?
We don’t use volunteers but sometimes I think we should 😉
Johnny you appear to be wearing a pair of "peak a boo" shorts!!!!!! So Very Cheeky!!!
You have lots of room for volunteers to help you
Until we renovate more interior bedrooms we actually don’t have room for volunteers unfortunately

For the stable doors, have you thought about a contrast color on the "z" patterned support boards. Just a thought , thank you for sharing.
Really enjoying this but wonder if you have any plans for the stables i.e. gites? 💜😊💜
Hope you have a sponsorship deal with little greene!!
I prefer the tradition French blue

Does the pink color have some sort of significance?
There is a Chateau outside BORDEAUX called Chateau Lagorce she is French he is Englush and their site is called Bordeaux Life they do weddings...your neighbors❤❤❤
