Nice meeting Alexi. I love the ladies shop also. It was a bit overwhelming. She was not wanting to make any sales though. You see that alot. No wonder she has so much.
Loved the doors, and shutters, what a lovely chap he was. The second brocante I could have spent à fortune in. Inm with Edd I loved the spiced set. My husband and I grew up with the ´boring´ lego, which isn't boring at all as your imagination can run free, just as Charles´ did.
I'm sure that I would be like you, wanting to spend a lot of money in the second store. Sorry I couldn't spell the French word for the store. Take care everyone!
I had a leggo set like that back in the early 1970s. Back then kids had to really use their own creativity to build things with leggos, linkin logs, and tinker toys. My leggo set also had little trees and shrubs to complete the whole house curb appeal. 😁
I've brought my grandson some old style Lego and he loves it. I think it's the using his imagination to create rather than just building a set piece. That second brocant was a treasure trove 🥰
When Ed pointed to the open field with the horses and The beautiful landscape I just let out a sigh like what a sigh relief I'm home lol absolutely beautiful. Much love from Oklahoma USA Jackie 🇺🇸💖
Hello Ed and Anna - what I love about you both is the kindness honesty and love that exudes from both of you - I call this “good people” - thank you for your videos Both of you have such exuberance in your energies that emanate happiness - blessings always
Yes indeed I can tell also, Edd and Anna. Have beautiful mannerism, they are genuine, honest people with calm peaceful Spirits. Beautiful children, wonderful EDDS PARENTS.TOO. I CAN RECOGNIZE TRUE QUALITY PEOPLE💝!
Ed & Anna that was wonderful 💌 I loved everything...the old doors & stained glass waaaooo... Then the smaller brocante I loved loved loved the plates...the candlesticks table cloths&:serviettes...too many nice things to choose... Godbless. Stay Safe 🌷🌸🥀 🧁🧁A cupcake for Cha-cha & Emma ❣️
Thank you , enjoyed everything. Especially the last store. I like the girl stuff. My husband said he is glad Ed is there instead of him. Because I would have gone shopping and bought everything. And my husband would not be happy. But we are different people Anna. We are retired and very old. When you get to my age , you don't care. I tell my husband now, " Why are you saving the money, there is no bank in heaven. God dose not charge to get in". So I spend it, can't take it with you.😘☺️☺️ I thank you for taking me to that store, I so enjoyed it. You two beautiful people take care and God bless
That little brocante was fantastic!! So many gorgeous pieces, how do you go in and not come out with anything?? That first spice/cannister set would've been MINE! 😊
Wow, such beautiful things! I could spend hours in brocantes like those two. I have always wanted stained glass doors on slides to separate the dining room from the kitchen. Just lovely! If Stephanie and Philip visit, you should definitely bring them to Rosamond's brocante! ♥️
Charles did a great job on his lego creation. My grandson loves lego as well. That first brocante is a reno craftsman's dream. I love all antique, flea markets and shops where I can search for treasures. Thanks for showing us. 😊
Both brocantes were amazing. Thank you! Charles did a really good job with his legos. Maybe he has architectural or engineering interests to be nurtured.
Thankyou so much for sharing another wonderful vlog, such treasures to find with not only a high value 😮but interesting history as they were once used with care and pride. 😊😊
Loved the tour of both places. Such beautiful doors and shutters. Rosemond was lovely and had beautiful items. Would have spent a fortune in either place. Thanks for sharing.
Great video. Enjoyed seeing the doors and shutters - a lifetime of collecting. And loved the second brocante with all the the glass, porcelain and linens.
Well done Charles!Such history in doors! Beautiful wood carving! Glass works! Stained glass! I love architectural elements! Alexi is blessed with that view! While beautiful, she was too expensive!
What a nice adventure with lots of treasure. I think if I had to choose one thing that I saw it would be the door from 1730s and I would be tempted to hang it on the wall like a piece of art. Thanks for taking us along !! 😃
Enjoyed both Brocantes. The Doors were Very Nice, but I wish to see the stained Glass too ❤️ the second Brocante a tad expensive, but many Nice things, yes those Napkins will be Great for Gifting. Thank You for letting tag along I Loved it. I could spend much Money at both.I see you both Loved each shop ❤️ p. s I simply Love the Towns We Drive through, Beutiful, Quaint, & peaceful❤️ The Property at The fist place was just Beutiful. Sprawling hills, Horses, ponys? Just very Peaceful, like a step back in timel
Hi Anna I’m not sure what the distance is between you & Stephanie I’ve watched her many times buying quality Napkins & crockery very cheaply at her local charity shop! I must say I’m amazed at the bundles napkins linen & crockery set’s It might be worth a trip! Leave Ed at home with the children & spend a day charity shopping with Steph 😉🥰
Loving the ‘old’ LEGO. Brings back memories of my own childhood, although mine was a kitchen because I was a girl! Basic LEGO makes you use your imagination straight away and exercises construction muscles in the brain (and tessellation). Keep playing with LEGO Charles (and Emma when she’s older). 🏰
That is splendid! We bought a big box of Lego and two baseboards for our five year old twin grandbabies for Christmas. Was dubious too, but they love it. I hated it when my kids were small....it hurt like billyo when I stood on the bricks and the transparent ones blocked the vacuum.
Loved this episode. Incredible shops and conversations with owners. My first husband was an architect. Divorced him haha but still have appreciation for all things architectural like the doors. I live near Tucson Arizona in a small house but have decorated with architectural objects on my walls and my windows are full of stained glass. This vlog hit all my sweet spots. Thank you!
The first one was amazing with all the door and the fields with the poneys was quite and so peacefull and the secdon one wow fo much stuff there Stephanie and Phillip etc need to go there
Now I know where to go to France. I love old linens. And the doors were absolutely beautiful. What's the Stain glass. Is really enjoyed this today. Trying to keep warm in Oklahoma. Ice storm. God-bless you all and keep safe. And I love Charles's building. I can see his future.
Thank you for sharing, fabulous items in both places you visited and lovely owners. You’re very disciplined, I’d of found it difficult to leave without buying something, especially with the very reasonable prices and quality items on offer.
Wow, what a romp down memory lane. In 1973 I had a tonsillectomy. During my convalescing an aunt bought me the Lego garage parts that Charles is playing with. The slight incline of the gray base has a center part that when pressed down let the garage door flip up. An automatic garage door was the coolest thing.
Beautiful items in both Brocantes I find it frustrating to watch you show us such beautiful antiques at such good prices and yet not purchase anything. If I see an item I love I will buy it on the spot, especially antiques as they don't make them anymore. Still thanks for showing such quaint and beautiful shops full of treasures.
Wow! Wow! Wow! It's like visiting Ali Baba's Cave! Such beautiful treasures! I'd love to spend hours in both! Not that I have the $$$$ but still, it would be Heaven! Thank your for this rare treasure hunt. Rosamunde looks and sound a dear. I have a feeling that your vlog will inspire other château owners to visit both brocantes very soon.
Oh how I wish I could visit these two places. The doors, library, and salvage pieces are amazing, not to mention the views when you stepped outside. What a stunning landscape with the horses below. I think it took your breath away Anna, when Edd pointed it out to you. I could spend a day in the brocante with all of the china, linens and glassware. The woman was so charming. The prices are so reasonable. I really loved this vlog. Tell Charles he did a great job building the house with the garage and wall. My grandsons love their Lego’s too. Thank you for taking us out shopping with you. xx
Very nice design Charles, from Texas, USA❣️I could be your grandmother, my grandson is 17 years old and playing in a championship basketball tournament tonight, I hope they win the game🙏😎😍 My grandchildren call me Honey and my husband is call Da. Bye bye😀
What a view at the 1st place and all that history with his salvaged goods. And the 2nd place was lovely and clean. I seen some beauties I'd love to have, wow!!
Ed and Anna, thank you for showing us the wonderful brocante so much to look see very interesting Especially the elderly ladies goodies lots to choose from.
Charles did a great lego build ... he is so creative. Adorable too. Awesome doors! His place is amazing!!! The shutters were amazing also! So fun to see this. She had so many beautiful things.
Architectural antiques quite impressive!!! In our victorian home have many acid etched windows and doors. Also did a door by myself using sand blasting method!! What WOW visit!!! Top notch👍👍👍
I absolutely loved both shops. Need the tall doors for building our new house. Did he also have wall paneling or boiserie? Now just have to figure out the shipping to the USA. Thank you for introducing me to these sources. You saved me so much time trying to find them. Please do more vlogs on this type of tours.
I love Lego its only limited by your imagination! Our daughter who is 29 now grew up playing with it with daddy!! They both have a fantastic imagination!
Yippy I am off today and can watch a premiere..Hello Anna,Edd,Charles and Emma I hope everyone is in good health and spring is making everything better and brighter.
Anna, how about using napkin rings? They were first used in France in the early 1800s. Their purpose was to identify each person's napkin because they weren't washed after every meal. Maybe something for highlighting your vintage look.
What a lovely boy Charles is and so polite.you must be so very proud of your children.good job mum and dad xxx love the vlog too.....love granny
Nice meeting Alexi. I love the ladies shop also. It was a bit overwhelming. She was not wanting to make any sales though. You see that alot. No wonder she has so much.

How kind those owners were to give the tours! I hope they get lots of business for their care. I loved it!

L'Antiquaire De Quisac is the most organized antique store I have ever seen.
I could watch you go through this place for hours. Beautiful pieces in there!!!
Alexi's knowledge of antiques and his stock are magnificent.

Love architecture pieces ❤ wonderful 👏 thank you for showing us. 😊
