- *** ULTRADYNE CONFIRMED NOT TO USE LOCTITE***
Unfortunately I was given bad information by a gunsmith.
If I could have done things better please let me know! I don’t mind learning.
I love the looks of this muzzle brake, and I definitely will do another video testing it out. If anyone wants to send me another compensator to test vs the Pegasus I’d be happy to 😏.
@ultradyneusa stated not use loctite for the compensator.
I am not sponsored any any of the companies of these products.
Here are the links that I recommend to purchase from:
@SilencerCentral Thread Adapter: www.silencerce...
Compensator: www.midwayusa....
U shouldn't be using loctite on any muzzle or anything on the end of the barrel. You should be using anti seize. Barrel gets hot. If u ever wanna take that break off. Good luck. But what do i I know ive only been shooting for 30 years. Loctite is for your scopes. Trigger assembly's and stuff like that. Anything that gets hot u dont wanna be using that.
Yeah you’re right. I need to correct that in the description. Frustrating because I was told by a gunsmith who makes custom brakes that anytime there is no crush washer to use Loctite 😤 .
I had confirmed with Ultradyne after the install and they also said “no Loctite”. I had put my trust in someone who had been doing this for many years and was lead astray.
@@PNWAdventurer wow that's messed up man. Yeah I saw another video on UA-cam an old timer said to use anti seize and not to use loc tite then I stumbled on this video and you used loc tite then I read this old timers comment so looks like anti seize it is.😂😂😂😂
@@wahiawabound808 yup! Stick with THAT! 🫣 No loctite lol
@@PNWAdventurer 😂😂😂😂 got it
Thank you for uploading your video. It’s been a great help, and I love the look of the breaker. I have ordered the breaker and the thread adapter. According to your links, I have a Hawa 1500, but the adapter does not fit the barrel. It seems to be the adapter and the barrel of the same size. Do I need this adapter?
Are you saying your barrel thread isn’t the 1/2-28? Glad you found the video helpful! If the muzzle break thread is the same as your barrel you won’t need it. I needed it because my barrel size on my .308 is the 1/2-28 which is typical of a .223/.556 barrel thread size.
Also, check out the video testing it if you haven’t yet! And be sure NOT to loctite it on the barrel.
