I love Postmodern Jukebox, and of all the singers they have with them, Haley is my favorite. You should check out their song "Seven Nation Army" and "All About That Bass" and "Black hole sun".

This was my first time hearing them, have you got any recommendations for any of their other songs (to add to the ones above)? And do they only do covers or do they have any original work too?
@@peterwale6821 that I know of are only covers... there are a lot of song that are really good. Like I said, Haley is a favorite, but also, another good name to look for is Morgan James... a little different, but very interesting is Puddles Pity Party, the clown looking guy.

@donereally I got a chance to see them live back in 2015. It was pretty great, not going to lie. They actually played Bad Romance there, with the singer and tap dancer from the video. I was lucky that the lineup that day were pretty much most of my favs on the channel.

This is great and I love her voice but there is a video of an actual homeless man named Homeless Mustard that makes me damn near cry. He is not technically skilled, and does not have a traditionally "good" singing voice, but the raw emotion he puts into the song makes you feel like it was coming from his soul. If I didn't already know who Radiohead was I would have thought he wrote it himself. It just feels personal and its so moving. He was "discovered" by the Opie & Anthony show, if I remember the story right, one of the guys was walking into the building their studio was in and Mustard was busking out front and they were so impressed they brought him in to perform. Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox has many exceptionally done versions of many modern and classic songs. I like their version of "Rude", "Take Me to Church", and "Sweet Child o Mine" better than the originals. Even if you choose not to do a video, check them out. I guarantee you won't be disappointed!
I'll second their rendition of "Sweet Child o' Mine" - Miche Braden has one hell of a voice.

postmodern jukebox has different line ups for different covers they almost always knock it out of the park. Some are so so most are fantastic.

She took a rock song by Radiohead and went all vintage in it. This a hell of a sexy song the way she sings it. She came from a blues jazz and rock family.

Post Modern Jukebox has the amazing ability to find a singing talent of amazing quality that can turn ANY song into a stunning jazz number. It doesn't matter how metal, country or rap/r&b it is they knock the cover off the ball every time.
I would argue that this is one of the best vocal performances by a "pop singer" in recent decades. Her sound, her abilities, her breath control, her range, her rasp, her quiet sweetness...that and many other things are on display here, and it's quite amazing. I hope that you watched it again immediately after, because you miss so much the first time because you're just simply in awe.
I first heard this at my brother-in-law's wedding reception. There was a whole playlist of PMJ that played softly in the background while everyone ate, before the DJ kicked the dancing off. It gave the whole affair the feel of an upscale cocktail party, and I recognized the lyrics to All About That Bass and was like 'WTF?!" So this was the second song, and I made my husband go up and ask the DJ what this was. After that, we were fans! Love this!
PMJ does various artists doing various songs in the style of the 20's, 30's and 40's They are AMAZING!
One of the genius things about the way Scott ( pianist and head of PMJ ) puts these songs together is in the fact that when she sings " I said she runs ", she is actually doing a vocal technique called a run.
That is a beautifully classic Jazz voice. Perfect.

As you might have noticed in the other comments, PMJ is VERY popular among reaction viewers, if not to say extremely popular.
And there is a very good reason for it, most of us are "music connoisseurs" and roam the lands of reactions for the songs we love and the reactions on those.
And then it is logical that PMJ pops up, because of their musical abilities, the "oldfashioned" displaying of actual music talent (both instrumental and vocal) makes them stand out.
Now ofc it didnt hurt them to have some of the best vocalists out there to sing their songs.
Haley being one of them Morgan James, Robyn Adele Anderson, Puddles Pity Party (do not let him being an actual clown fool you, the clown has a golden voice), Ariana Savalas and Casey Abrams to name just a tiny handful of the vocalists they work(ed) with who are all amazingly talented.
Normally i would say "listen to this or that song" but not in PMJ's case, for them i say "Listen to the singers i just listed" (and then explore more, the videos wont get blocked as far as i know)
