Like other folks, i had no clue these traits were in the game either. Now it makes sense why sometimes i get a slight bit of pressure and it’s like the ball comes out a duck and in the red for inaccuracy.
Woah.... I am probably approaching 200 hours in this game and had never seen these traits before. Dear god there is so much crap to consider, you need a damn Notebook handy to track each player with mentals, physicals, deal breakers, development, stat caps, and now traits? Lol what a beast this game is
I also didn’t know you that you could CREATE divisions within the CUSTOMIZE CONFERENCES! Great way to fix the OBVIOUS problem of the amount of conference games that teams actually play when you edit them. Don’t know if y’all have noticed but when you actually use the customize option, l and check the conference standings later in the year, it’ll be week 10 or 11 and teams are like 2-0 in conference play. But if you make divisions and set the conference championship to “records within each division” as the option that gets teams to the championship, they’ll start to actually disperse mandatory conference games each year and sub out every 2 years so you play each team equally! Hope this helps for those that didn’t know! I had to make the SEC back to divisional! Much better and more realistic!
Yeah I wonder if it’s because they rushed the game or because there was already so much in it they couldn’t fit it in. Either way there’s a lot of stats and accomplishments that aren’t saved in the game. You have to either write it all down or just try to remember it 😅
@@Mzbbxhfbfnsx yeah I've been saying the same thing. The game feels slightly rushed, I feel like it should've came out next year. Hopefully they have enough time to polish everything and add new things with the next game.
@@Mzbbxhfbfnsx It really wasn't a rushed game though. If you look at the details of the game idk if anyone realizes it says published 6 years ago. Meaning they been building this game for 6 years
I just discovered this a few hours before I saw your video. One thing I been trying is with my o-line is playing guys that have balanced, or disciplined Penalty traits, and using aggressive blocking adjustment in game. I feel like it does work, because those players were drawing next to no holding penalties, and blocking better.
I tried using Colorado in a dynasty. I played about 4 games and then realized the dynasty wasn’t recording Travis hunters defensive stats. Only offense stats smh. So every time I look at his defensive stats it’s a zero across the board.
Also wr can play cb if u want but not other way around that with no stats is wild I had a dude 97 at both and got 6 int two for TD I just gotta remember this stuff come on EA
Great now I have to only focus on getting aggressive DBs, make sure my Dline and LBs will actually use their moves and hit big, and that my QB has poise oooof
Oh I discovered this recently. Was gonna bring it up on Reddit. So much stuff made sense. Why some guys would swat easy interceptions and some were much better pass rushers
This actually is wild how hidden this is I can't wait to see more research on rhis could completely change how you develop guys. EA make this menu more accessible and seen please lol
I didn’t know this! Another thing that drives me nuts is that you can see skill caps nor dev trait when doing depth chart, cutting players, etc. I literally have a spreadsheet of my entire roster every year so I know who needs replaced, who to start for development purposes, what archetypes I need more of etc. EA, if you need my help designing the UI hit me up. I’d love to not have to do this manually.
i found the traits screen by accident a few weeks ago. Had an OL who was constantly getting holding penalties. Looked at his traits and the penalty trait was high. subbed him out for the backup who was only a few ticks lower OVR and in the blocking stats but had a balanced penalty tendancy and magically, the penalties went away.
Bro I have been looking for these since the game dropped lol! For me it came from highly recruited QBs/Scrambling QBs throwing wobbly passes and wanted to see if their tight spiral trait was the reason but could never find it.
I'd like to know which trait dictates why some of my QBs put the ball on the carpet as soon as a defender looks in his general direction and which trait dictates why all 5 of your linemen fail to jump on the loose ball when it's rolling right under their feet.
yo this was great info. would love to see another video exploring how these traits impact a teams performance and roster construction. I have a 93 ovr CB with zero abilities and I'm debating benching him for an 87 ovr with a few abilities.
News to me! Has anyone played a game in the snow yet? I am using Michigan - moved the Big10 champ game to NJ meadowlands - it's snowing - but there is no snow on the field, no out of bounds lines, yardage makers or endzone! Note i am viewing the game in slow mode - just wondering if this is a one off issue.....?
This is excellent information sir. But... 2 way player stats do not track. My wr playing db has 6 picks, 5 defensive tds, 2 forced fumbles, and i didn't track tackles of reflections. On that stat screen, it still registers as having never happened. The only way to find them is to subtract from team totals, and they will not effect heisman chances.
So a QB could start every game for 3 years and in his senior year he’s still paranoid in the pocket? Pretty well thought out and realistic per usual for EA
No hate but bro are you a native English speaker? I think you might be able to benefit from a public speaking course or speech pathologist. I notice you replace “th” with d a lot and ing with “in” among other things. You have great content I’m not coming for you at all. Just when I put you on my list a lot of videos are smooth AI voices that speak well it stands out when you come on “dere” “da” “dis” etc. and things like dat as well as some mispronounced words like you repeatedly said “sim-a-lation” instead of simulation, saying have instead of has, don’t instead of doesnt etc. all love bro just food for thought.

This game is crushing Madden!
It’s really crazy how EA had us out here with NO instructions no manual no clue how the damn game works

This explains why some QB's with better stats can play way worse than one with weaker stats.
It's crazy that it's actually doesn't show the awards won smh. I went they after my player won the Heisman and nothing was there.

Smh🤦🏽♂️
If it's a DB, it doesn't keep track of the receiving stats h
You can see the amount of pancake blocks in-game but if you try to check it under season stats it's non-existent. WTF is with EA

the award screen is not working since release of the game. doesn`t track anything
Hawaii in the SEC is diabolical 😂
But for real... This is DOPE!! Had no idea
Predictability in madden is related to how easy it is to resign a player so I assume I’m CFB it’s related to players leaving in the portal.

CB can play WR. But like you said only primary position stats will show
Holy crap. Nah that paranoid trait has to be important. My 3 star gem elite dev will throw ducks whenever he has any pressure!
Facts it’s bad bro
Like in Madden there’s no way I’m starting a QB with the Paranoid trait
yeah these are definitely gameplay traits, an ideal qb plays different than average qb
Great now I have to only focus on getting aggressive DBs, make sure my Dline and LBs will actually use their moves and hit big, and that my QB has poise oooof

I look at TUP throw under pressure
And it doesn't track two-way players stats. It only track whatever their main position is, which I feel like EA drop the ball on

Might have to run some tests to see if players with higher stars / gems/ higher devs have traits that appear to be better.
I been waiting on this cause it is important with certain positions

yes beecause most qbs dont change anf all of a sudden have great pocket awareness
