Adrienne, Hawaii is very different to mainland America! I'm sure you wouldn't be so gushy about the U.S if you weren't in Hawaii! Because, I had the same experience where, I was in Hawaii for a couple of months and thought how great it was to be back in America, but as soon as I landed in L.A. I no longer felt the same way being in the U.S.A!
Nah airlines don’t sanitise the planes before you board! Definitely wipe down your area every time! I’m a flight attendant. The cleaners just tidy trash and a quick vaccuum (or mop if needed)
Love that you’ve been glowing as always these days!! I missed Hawaii so much! We only visited Maui and Kuaui though, need to visit Oahu next time! Thinking of visiting SK one day too as study abroad! :)

I'm an American who lives in Sweden now for over 5 years. I was here for 2 years without international travel through 2020 and most of 2021. I also experienced a lot of culture shock when I went to the US again. I saw such a huge change where my parent's live from how it was 2 years before. And so different from Sweden. I also know exactly what you mean with the travel anxiety with the pre-travel covid test. I am actually about to take my 3rd trip to the US in the last 6 months and just booked my test. I'm trying to isolate as much as possible right now, but I feel so anxious that I will get a positive result and my Easter trip will be canceled.

*HUGS* I would totally do the same if I had a chance to take a break and go on a nice long vacation to another country (Korea is definitely on my list to go visit someday!! My current guilty pleasure is getting into (new to me) the Korean group ONEUS who are doing their Blood Moon tour in the US right now and they are coming to Kansas March 3 and I am treating myself and not only going to the concert, but doing Hi-touch as well! I'm both nervous and excited! (this is the first time a kpop group has come to the Kansas/Nebraska area where I live).

I try to remember that the pilots have been doing their job for years and that turbulence is normal!! 🙏🏻
