There is one more thing that I did not add into my vid. And this is pure speculation.
If I'm right, E-Day campaign will be based on a certain comic book and one of Karen Traviss' books.
But I don't want to say anything at this point. Time will tell.

Good stuff! Carlos was slain at Aspho Fields in the Karen Traviss book, now I recall. Carlos was Marcus's best bud and it's worth a read.
I don't recall Dom being in the book, but was present in the in-game mission in Gears 5. Anvil Gate will always be my fave, though.
I'll go ahead and say it, everyone should read the Karen Traviss books, including The Slab.
Unfortunately, I believe his scar was due to dog bites while he was in the Slab. Adam was horrified in the book that they allowed it.

Yes Carlos sacrificed himself at Aspho Fields. Karen Traviss did a great job with the books. And I agree every gears fan should read them.
Maybe TC will make a DLC of Marcus’ time in the Slab and we get to see how he gets his scar.

I dont think we see anthony carmine cuase its 14 years before gears 1 and he is just a child.
HOWEVER we know their father Will carmine fought in the Pendulum Wars
