Never underestimate 4bangers. I’m a v8 guy and even I know them 90s + civics are no joke. I just don’t get the hate from muscle car guys towards these little monster engines.
@A Fera Lmao, not since the 7th Gens they aren't. They weigh close to 3k pounds or more after 2005 when the 7th Gens ended. The reason they're also fast is not because of the weight but the engines they come with as well as the close gear transmissions, most notably the 6 speeds. The K series is a pretty strong/capable engine even from factory cuz they have insane head flow and can make pretty good gains from simple bolt ons and a tune. Going from 200-210hp to 250/260hp+ crank is pretty dope for cars with only BPU only and a tune as most cars would be LUCKY to see that kind of progress on most other NA 4 bangers. And I'm not even a Honda guy, I'm a Mitsubishi guy so this is literally the competition speaking and even I can admit it. Are K powered cars faster than 4G/4B powered cars? No. But in the same vein, are they not impressive because of this? Also no. They're just under it as far as potential goes really.

The stock 2006-2012 Civic Si is 2880lbs with the coupe and sedan barely having any weight difference. Easy to get it down to 2700lbs. Where the 96-05 civic are all around 2550-2650lbs.

Gotta be on point with your shifting with certain turbo cars but yeah we can't win em all. The weight of these 8th gens is what sorta makes these cars fast a bit.
Fg2k20z3 for life i went with hybrid cmc/slave c. It's em1 parts lol short shifter adapter, acuity base bushing & cable bushings, you did those too right? Nice tune & other mods clean appearance

Take a bone stock k24a2, swap the oil pump and put prayoonta stage 4 cams with 92lb supertech valvetrain. 250-270 at the wheels with supporting mods.

But I cant wait do dyno mine and go out and roll race. its just sad that nobody wants the smoke when they see the stickers that say I'm modded. like cmon you guys are no fun!
My car is dyno tuned; the difference isnt much tbh besides with e tune it takes a lot longer for the tune to be done since you are doing it through email. I went with dyno tune cause i cant be going back and forth doing tunes. Much love
Yeah some of the pulls in that vid are pretty old when I was first learning stick. Then as time progress you can see some shifting got better in some vids lol
I hope you can beat a 2000 Prelude with 200 horsepower. Since you're running a freaking turbo ,sad if you can't. And then racing a regular motorcycle your car is a joke.. I noticed the only race with lesser horsepower than yours. Says a lot and I mean it is just a Civic, so I don't blame you for not having faith in that piece of shit

My car is dyno tuned; the difference isnt much tbh besides with e tune it takes a lot longer for the tune to be done since you are doing it through email. I went with dyno tune cause i cant be going back and forth doing tunes. Much love
