The benefit of 3 more bad players is that they can help each die faster. 😂 Seriously, when there's a split, like on Port Bay early in the stream, at least there's more chance of succeeding (as the team did). Ten tanks all going to the ravine side would create tremendous bottlenecks and they'd be ripe for being flanked from behind. On this particular map, 10 vs 10 adds variety and legitimate options. On many others, the extra players don't add much overall. If the premise is to replicate more realistic tank battles or the full WOT experience, then you would go 5 vs 5, not 10 vs 10, on these maps. Then, light tanks would be in their element.
Probably artificial intelligence doing its usual best to be stupid! 😂 Marti did talk about the weather early in the stream; that people should go outside during the day instead of playing games. Perhaps it picked up on that? If not, something else later said. I only watched the first 30 minutes before going outside for a bike ride. 😂

i like the 10v10 a lot. it seems that the flanks don't fall apart as fast. more time to be able to run around and get into good positions.
