I had a bad experience there. I had a long time interest in transpersonal psychology. Back in 2009/2010, I obtained the year long certificate of transpersonal studies as a first step in that journey. The certificate was to count as my first year in obtaining a masters in transpersonal psychology. With much enthusiasm and going in with another masters under my belt, I was rejected into the program. I went 20 grand in debt getting a certificate that to my knowledge is obsolete. To further add insult to injury, the university changed its name from The Institute of Transpersonal Psychology to Sofia. I found this shameful. Ultimately, I did obtain a master’s in psychology from a traditional university and can say that they didn’t practice what they preach. Narcissistic, egocentric. I abhor fake spirituality.
