This feels so perfect. The other mashups each have one time that sticks out more than the other (Which isn't a problem with the mashups themselves, that's just how the music is composed) but I can hear the 8-bit and 16-bit themes separately and they work so well
Just went through the entire game last week, and these 24 bit mashups are my favorite way to enjoy the music! Need to download them and compile them into a playlist...
So I was right, if you listen past the first loop, it would switch only to the genisis track. Wasnt trying to be rude, just thought that while listening to it in my car. Great job as always.
it's not an 8-bit/16-bit track. I talked to Rainbowdragoneyes ( the creator of the music ) and he agreed these " 24 bit " remixes are fine,. as along as I steered ppl towards his original works so ppl could enjoy them on their own, and get the full soundtrack. i won't be uploading anyhting for The Messenger unless it has 8 and 16 bit counterrparts. you can always click the link in the descrtiption to go to the bandcamp, and listen to the tracks for free :)
