Vintage Strings is a virtual instrument for Kontakt 5 designed to emulate the classic violin string section sounds of R&B, Soul, and Funk records from the 1960's and 1970's. Whether you're an experienced arranger or casual producer, Vintage Strings was designed to make it quick and easy for you to create great sounding string tracks for your productions. Like its sister product, Vintage Horns, Vintage Strings was not designed to be a shiny, perfect sounding virtual instrument. Instead, we tried to capture the way string sections sounded back in the '60s and '70s; including the decidedly not classical playing style and minor imperfections that added character to those sections and made them sound so good.
1:52-2:10 is an unreal sound, very reminiscent of the music marvin was demonstrating on his 'let's get it on' album
Omg, THIS is what I need! I've been looking for something like this but could only find orchestral string libraries whch isnt what I wanted. I cant afford this thhough as I have a budget of $0.
me too ):
Hello, Will this work on the latest Kontakt 6 version?
Also, are there any plans for updates/refresh to this VST? Thanks!
You can use this with Kontakt 6 since Kontakt is backward compatible! The version available on our website is the latest update :)
No Viola or Cello?
This library sounds great, but it has the worst latency problems of anything I own. I like the sound and features, but the delay before you hear the sound is unacceptable. And I'm using a recent Kontakt with a reasonably quick computer.
turn down the play buffer size you're probably using pro tools lol
What instrument is that at 6:00 ??? And us it included?
Flutes can be found in Vintage Horns and Vintage Horns 2 from Funk/Soul Productions!
Please, no talk, only present it.
It's pretty limited for that price.99$ would've been more than enough.
+Phil Perry It's currently on sale for $99.95
Big Fish Audio
Doesn't matter if it's on sale right now. It's way too expensive.
Then don't buy it
+Phil Perry Developing a library needs a lot of effort and money so it is still a fair price. It is simply naive to think that you can sell it for a discount price, not only musicians want to get paid, you have the revordists, equipment, scripting and design as well, just to name the most important. Great lib by the way.
There are much bigger and comprehensive librarys out there for the same or even less.
Mucho bla bla mejor toca algo y asi apreciar el sonido que proporciona el software.
