I may be wrong, but I believe Luke Christopher was first.
Besides, the drums and bass samples of the two songs are slightly different, so it doesn't seem that Luke rapped over Jordan's song.

Yes. I am aware of this. But you have to look at things as they are and in light of the past. Downloading in the late 90,s and early 2000's is the reason streaming services for both audio and video has been offered as solutioms.
I would also question the view expressed on what is considered support.
Financial support is of course a way to make artists make good music. But have the system - before or after - ever been fair or regulated in a good way? I don't know why everybody feels they should make a living off of music. Today there are some that can and many who are either struggleing to or not making a living from their music. And that's the way it will aleays be i guess.
Another form of support is gratitude, feedback, audience and plays. The fact that people choose - from the enormous lirbary of music published - to listen to your work. To share with others. Showing up at concerts. Writing or in other ways expressing their feedbeck of your product. >> continued
That is also a form of support. And after all, music is a form of enertainment, an expression of feelings or comfort, an ability to releave from stress or just the everyday. Anyways i believe that music is for sharing and to be shared.
I'm not saying that I don't think musicians should get paid. But music used to be solely for the rich. Now music is for everybody. And I think that in it self is a good thing.
I have a bacelors degree in music production, so I am not just considering myself a customer, but I don't expect to be rich and I intend to keep my steady job while making music on my spare time.
This song eventually showed up on spotify, and I am happy for that!

It's just that I've learned about the earnings distribution in the online music industry only recently. I wasn't pointing any fingers, but rather trying to spread awareness, so thank you for getting that and answering in a non-combative way :)
You say music is "meant to be shared", which makes me wonder whether and how that's different from "meant to be free"
In any case, that is the prevalent state of mind about music today, a widespread expectation that's been developing over a long period of time.
Whether or not that ever changes, I can say that when I realized how little money the artists are making from their songs being played even on completely legal platforms like youtube, that helped me appreciate their music a lot more.
