I have a 2013 Fiesta that I have had from new. Its stage 2 tuned. Great on track and 42 mpg on a run. Only car I have ever kept for any period of time. Love it.
Keep an eye on the import market. The auction prices in japan are crashing as the used car market has crashed so you will be able to pick up older and better civic and integra type r for a lot cheaper than they have been in an age, It may even be possible to pick up a AE 86 cheap.
Should do a hot coupe video under 15k some amazing powerful cars. Ive had Scirocco R 2016 manual 276bhp and now have a 2015 BMW 235i manual 326bhp rwd both can get for around 15k. Amazing value!
Good video suggestion there and surprised to see that on what cars you can get for the money now. Been keeping an eye out for a Porsche Cayman but hopefully next year can start saving for one 👀
I've bought a few VW UP!s and they are I'd say the best city cars for build quality. Seen a lot of people praise the GTI version and some people moving from cars like a BMW M2 to these and enjoying them more which says something
Bit disappointed to not see the 208 Peugeotsport GTi on the list, they're awesome fun and well within the price range. Only driven that and the Fiesta (Mk 6 & 7, not 8) and they're very similar for fun. Wouldn't touch a VXR. Literally, I'd be worried about catching something 😄 I love small cars, but I love the comfort and tech of bigger cars. I test drove a Focus ST yesterday and said to the dealer that what I really wanted was a Fiesta ST but with Mondeo comfort. I wouldn't say the Fiesta is in the shadow of the Focus, it's been the better hot hatch for years. I'd pick a Mk7 Fiesta over the Mk8 though. Edit: S1 is a poor man's GR Yaris. Hilarious that an Audi is a poor man's Toyota but there you have it. I've considered S1s for a while, will have to have a go in one. Don't think it'll cover the motorway comfort criteria well though, or be any cheaper to run than the Porsche...

I’ve got one
Blew a head gasket at 77k miles and needed a new engine 😂
@@davidw1634 What year? Did it have the coolant recall done?
It's a shame they discontinued the S1 - the new A1 is such a good looking small car.
I have a 2016 Corsa VXR and am loving it. I get high 30s in mpg people reporting high 20s must just be flooring it everywhere.

One of my dream cars is an i20n (even tho it isn't on the list lol), but out of these cars I'd go for the brutal Corsa VXR
They handle shit I've got one. Fiesta ST is far a better drive
@@JD-eo7dr noice, ty for letting me know!
@@thadynakat the performance diff helps the front wheels it's the rear damping that's a problem. It's quite nervous on the road at the rear though

@@manilove2pwn wow, that's insane! if only i could drive...

All five are awesome pocket rockets 💣. Ford Fiesta ST for me please.
Think the Renault Clio RS deserved a mention
Would you recommend any other cars under 15k regardless of being a hatch or not? For example a gt86?
I would - though I recommend driving one first to make sure it suits you! Reviewed one here: ua-cam.com/video/FUl5kwIJMF4/v-deo.html
Jb great content again
Should of mentioned the seat Ibiza cupra 1.8

I own the 208 gti prestige and is the most fun I’ve had in a car.
@@alexhardcastle4522 Good choice 😀 Get JB to have a go in it!
@@ApothecaryTerry if he wants to come have a go he can be my guest 😂😂 lots of country lanes near me
I personally want to 2000 lupo but sadly there not available to sell in the states yet so I’ll just have to stick with my tuned mk5 gti for now
Would an abarth 595 or 500 be okay as a first car?
Must admit quite fancy an S1 myself , on my street there is a lady with an Abarth 695 she looks to be well into her 70s .
I think the Twingo GT would share the place with the GTI. The RWD makes driving it a blast.
Vw polo 1.6 tdi and gti
Best sleeper
UP Gti eh. I think il stick with my Lupo Gti the OG
Pocket rockets are where it's at for me, who needs a bloody great boat like a Bentley or Aston Martin?
can you do automatics
It would be great to hear your comments on Big car please.
Swift Sport isn't the fastest but it's definitely great and cheap!
It's also over a second quicker to 60 than the 2019 up gti and cheaper used. Feel like JB has really done it dirty in this list
Go Lewis!!
Where is Fabia 1.5tsi
Smaller cars , easier to get used to the roads and easier to park.
Medium size best all round..
Okok
Oh yeah and first too. BOOM.
All about that fiat.
Im in the market at this price range at the moment, but hatches have never appealed to me slightly and I don't know why.
No scirocco…
👍👍👍

Arbath and Up are both ruined by their terrible driving positions. Also rubbish seats in the Up
