Wholecloth Quilting - Urban Elementz

Starting off slow and easy with Whirligig quilting design, primarily because of its small size. We are quilting on a vintage tablecloth and learning the easiest way to load a digital whole cloth design, as well as split, and combine designs.

For us, it was a great way to incorporate another kind of textile, saves the time to make a top, and it is a up-cycling instead of wasting...We have a pretty big stack for future videos also.

Great topic! Thanks for explaining the 3 types of wholecloth quilting! Is wholecloth the term for 'not pieced'? Good lesson on downloading and renaming files.

Yes, basically, a whole cloth quilt was not pieced, but rather just a large whole piece of fabric. But, in a way, many people also think of it as a Medallion type quilting design, rather than just edge to edge design.
