I love that they put a hole in the blaster when is attached to the truck mode in case someone wants to build the trailer.
It's insane that this not only is a very detailed LEGO set, but it also actually transforms.
Finally, LEGO and Transformers are the perfect match. Hopefully this is the beginning of a long run of Transformers LEGO sets.
Optimus Prime had that Energon Axe in exactly one episode of G1, for like a minute, but it's absolutely mandatory that every Optimus Prime toy worth its salt must include it.
As someone who's childhood was basically defined by Lego and Transformers, this is probably the most amazing thing I have ever seen
The most amazing thing here is the designer , who used to work on the transformer toys as well.
I LOVE that you don't even have to take it apart to transform it. I was kind of worried that it'd be a "Build this OR that" kind of thing.
My mind is blown that they've found a way to transform it without changing ANY parts except the bumper plate but that's literally one brick, this is insane. It must've been a crazy design process to make the transformation work and still keep it strong enough to not fall apart in the process

I can already see people redesigning him to give him tons of articulation and extra features. Definitely getting my hands on this set!
The values on the plaque are a callback to the datacard that was on the back of the box of the original toy. I do hope they do more G1 characters in the future.
This set looks really really fun to build. It’s also mind blowing that they did this mostly with standard pieces.
The way they made Optimus look dynamic while still transforming is extremely impressive by the fact that it is lego. The only G1 Lego Prime I've seen that is as close to this was StupidNinja's V3 Optimus, nearly similar, both extremely great figures
The two things I love the most in my life finally combined together (officially). I've been waiting since I was three years old to see this Collab happen and it finally did...
They really packed alot of details into this set
The stats I think are just more of an homage to the original action figure that did have those stats on the box. I don’t think it necessarily means we will see more Transformers sets, though it would definitely be welcome!
