Very useful video - Many thanks. Wondered where on earth the filter was 'hidden' for my newly acquired vehicle - 2009 Outland 2.0 Diesel Di-D. The tips to remove the connector and brackets to gain access to the cap were perfect, as were the underneath cover access points. Socket sizes again very useful. - Cheers!
Cheers dude. I looked at the space available to remove the filter and thought no chance. So before I started stripping things thought I'd have a quick look online and founds this :)
Woe, why is your filter in multiple parts? I just left the auto parts store with oil and a filter for my '07 Outlander and they just had a standard filter :/
Hey nice Video! Very detailed and thanks for the bolt sizes too. I have a question, what engine did you do the oil change on? cause i have the 2.2 DI-D 4WD and the oil filter for mine looks different

Hey there mat3, i have a problem with my egr, can an old one be fixed? I have a problem with my outlander at high speeds only, when i put the pedal down and speed up from above 80 mph, it limps and i lose power so i switch car off and back on again and im good to go, but not at high speeds. Any one know anything?

How did you unplug the electrical connector?
It would have been useful if we knew the model? Was this petrol or diesel? Are they the same?
