Hi there, I’m Maltese and came across your video. That place in Gozo all about Betlehem is actually a life-size crib, a representation of Betlehem and it’s open during Christmas. So there is usually many animals and people would take part and dress up to form a nativity scene. Many people including tourists come to visit during those days just to see it. Hope this helps :)
I've been to Malta many times and it's a delight. BUT, in mid summer, July/August it can be very hot, like 40C. If that's a problem visit in May or October instead. Will be cheaper too. Also find time to take the ferry to Gozo. quieter but a hidden gem.
