I too still watch Matock. Thanks for this video, I will be making for a friend's granddaughter. 🤗
Love this project! Will surely put a smile on a child's face. I'm thinking a little boy doll along with the girl doll would make a cute gift!
Your Doll designs are incredibly smart, fancy and so much fun to see them all come to life!!!! Thank you for sharing your skills & knowledge with us, we are very grateful for your kindness!!! .... I do have a quick suggestion for you to consider. Paper can be pretty expensive over time, so what if you used "paper napkins" instead? They would tear just as easy, or just wet them & lightly rub if a spot gets stuck as you tear. They would save you $ in the long run, so that your profit increases over time ... Thank you again for sharing your beautiful Doll with us, we love each one of them!!!
Adorable ❤ and I love Matlock too 😊
I love rag dolls and yours are stunning. Great yarn hair tutorial.
So pretty! I love the rainbow hair and the sparkly hair! I need to get a new printer, but that's all that's stopping me from sewing new patterns at the moment. I plan on getting a few of the rag doll patterns from you. I love them! They're so cute! I also really enjoy your very easy going teaching style. I've made a few of the wonky houses and it's so therapeutic and relaxing. I think you're my favorite sewing channel...so thank you!
Thank you! 🤗
May I suggest painting the scalp of the doll with fabric paint or dye to cover up the ball spots 😊
I too was a military wife for 30 yrs - so glad I found your videos - blessings from Nova Scotia Canada 🦋🇨🇦 .
Yay I love the mermaid 🧜♀️. I just ordered pattern on etsy❤
Thank you for this tutorial. The best one I have found. You are so adorable. I’m looking forward to checking out your other videos.
These are so cute. I would love to see a side front part and Bangs ( if you haven't done it already.) 😊
I can’t hardly wait to make one of these for my two new grands
I’m grateful to have come across this video, as it answered many questions I already had on making doll hair with yarn…& I so appreciate this. Can you combine yarn with some thin strips of felt in the same colors???
❤
That would be cute! I think I’d use wool felt since the poly kind pills, stretches and can break over time.
Stumbled on this video while researching how to do a long tail tuft on a plushie. Very nice glimpse into how hair is done in general! Definitely cute mermaids 🥰
This is just the cutest!!! 😄
They're so sweet!
I made a crochet rag doll about 10 years ago. I used cotton yarn for everything including the hair. You were correct the hair was very heavy but it looked terrific when finished, however I could not donate as the head could not support the hair. So I changed the style. I’m really glad I found your channel this will help me complete that doll with wool of which I have an abundance. I don’t know why I did not think of that myself I guess I have tunnel vision.
So cute and enjoy you as well!
Love her❤
I love that black sparkle yarn. Where did you find it and does it come in another color? Thanks and these are adorable!
It’s dark purple! Mine is from a local shop, but look on Etsy for wool yarn because there’s tons, I’m sure you can find black sparkly 👍🏻
Thank you so much! Needed to replace the hair on my childhood Raggedy Ann. You have shown me how! ❤
I’ve always wrapped the yarn around cardboard (as you showed in the video) and then I hand sew the yarn together, using the same yarn, then slide it off the cardboard and leave the bottom of the “hair” in loops. But I’ll give your way a try-looks faster!
You definitely could still leave the loops, that sounds cute!
My great grandma bought a doll pattern way back when. It's called a Laura Wheeler doll. Starting with my sister its become a family tradition for all the girls in the family to get one. So im making one for my 4 year old to get for Christmas. We do the hair very similar. We do a weft along the center, half a weft on each side, and then we hand stitch the bangs
I just looked up these Laura Wheeler dolls and they are beautiful! It looks like you can get reproductions on Etsy of the patterns and I'm quite tempted!
This is so adorable!!! Love it! I tried making angel ornaments last year and did something similar, but wish I had seen your video!
Matlock...lol....just found a DVD set of the Rockford Files at a discount store for $3. I had forgotten about Rockford Files and Matlock! I might need to seek out Matlock series for a Christmas gift!❤
I have never heard of Rockford Files, I’m gonna have to look that up!
If you like Matlock, you'll love Rockford Files...James Garner in his prime...handsome and funny.
Good❤❤❤
So so cute 😍 💓
Hello, how are you? Very beautiful dolls. Do you have courses in designing and making patterns for cloth dolls?
🎉🎉🎉❤
Can you do this on a crochet doll?
What if you own a sewing machine or no how to sew?
It says it is NOT FREE. Is that right?
That’s correct, the doll pattern is not free, it’s available in my pattern shop.
I just purchased this pattern and received no pattern
Hi there, can you send me an email to pincutsew at yahoo dot com so I can help you? Thanks!
