I have a TV that's pretty similar to the ones you've listed, it's a 55" LeEco Super4 X-55. It's super underrated, and it comes in at $350 at Wal-Mart. It supports 4K@60Hz and it has HDR support

Well plasmas were tech for higher end sets, putting it up against an LCD isn't really a good comparison. And OLED sets can also go into some real deep blacks, and with more precision.

As a PS4 controller collector, I've been working on building a wall mounted charging dock, I'm a guy who typically has more wall space than counter space and this seem like something that should have been out a generation ago!!
65" 4K HDR OLED from LG, bought it a year ago and I'm still pausing games and movies to just looking at it. I'm still amazed by both the quality and the size. Definitely worth the $2k price tag (black friday) and would recommend it to anyone thinking about upgrading. Although, I heard that microLED tv's are coming soon, might be worth reading about first.

With HDR and 4k / 2k games look just amazing. You really dont know until you have it to appreciate games at a high resolution than 1080p. HDR just adds a level of realistic light that is spectacular. XBR900E was 2017's best mid tier TV. I got it for $1100 CAD, one of the best purchases I've ever made!

I would like to point out that for those gamers who don't necessarily have the money to shell out on a pro controller but would still like something more than a regular controller - PDP are a third-party company who created the Prismatic Afterglow Xbox One controller. It has a transparent shell with a light strip running through it and has tri-function wheels on the back. The tri-function wheels and the light strip (both brightness and color) are programmable with just the controller itself but for added flair, the associated app can be downloaded onto Xbox One where you can set the light strip to cycle through the colors as you play. Because the light strip and reprogramming functions draw extra power, the controller is wired to the console but I wouldn't worry about it limiting how far you can be from the TV - the wire is 3 meters long. A standard Xbox One Elite controller here in the UK costs around £80 whereas the Prismatic Afterglow controller only costs £40, compared to the standard wireless Xbox One controller cost of £25.
I always wanted to try out the Philips Hue light strips myself, but I have to plan out how that's going to look before spending that coin. I ended up getting the 49" Sony XBR 49X900E TV last year during the Black Friday sales. It's legit good for gaming on, granted you use the HDMI 2 or 3 ports on it to get 4K HDR, and set the picture settings to 'game' or 'picture' after you set everything up. Got it for around $900 back then, so I would expect the price to have come down (without sale prices) since that model's about 18 months old now.
8:50 "a TV that doesnt break the bank" he says as he goes on to say that its 649 quid 1: am i the only one who thinks its a bit weird/messed up that TVs are starting to cost the same price/more than consoles? I invested in a SCUF for PS4. Took a while to adjust using my middle fingers for the paddles, but now, I can't play console shooters without it. Being able to jump / slide and keep your thumbs on the right stick is game changing! Yes, you can always play claw. But, I have fat sausage fingers... Definitely worth the investment if you play seriously on console. The Astro A10's have been my favorite headset for console. Hell. I even bought an adapter to use it on PC with a Y-splitter cable.
8:17 I couldn't agree more, I have a 65" TCL and the color range is magnificent. I've seen other 4K's and tbh I appreciate the color more than the resolution.
I don't mean to brag but my perfect chair of completely made of hard plastic. And with the combination of blankets and pillows is somewhat not as hard to sit on.

I have a 55" LG OLED C6 HDR tv with a Bose surround sound system, PS4 pro, Xbox One S, Nintendo Switch, The headset I use is a pair of Bose headphones with mic. I'm going to add the LED backlighting very soon. I love my set up. The LG OLED screen is so beautiful and the black levels can't be beat.
@Jaiden Jones A console compared to a PC is like comparing a gameboy to an X-Box. It inherently has greater limitations and a general lack of functionality. You're missing out on a lot more on a console than a PC. That should be common sense.
@@dawreckor You could pick up an HP at Wal-Mart and have more functionality than a console. It's also a total myth that you have to have the most expensive components for a PC to be worth it. I built my PC for $400 in 2014 and have yet to come across anything it couldn't handle. The degree in quality is marginal to the point that getting the latest most expensive parts is basically just for bragging rights. You get practically the same experience with a 9 series and a 10 series. There's really not a reason NOT to build budget. I'm not saying consoles are obsolete, by any means. They have their role. Just that a console isn't in any way a stand-in for a PC.
I have the One X, elite controller and that same TCL TV. It's so good for the price! Definitely underrated. I however have a Corsair headset. It's not great but it's well worth it. I use thumb grips on the regular controllers. Once u use them u won't go back. Got me some extra storage too. No one wants to uninstall a game to wait forever for another to install. Might as well keep them all installed at the ready. Great video man, keep up the good work.
If you're going to recomend a 55 inch tv for 4k, you may also want to recomend sitting 4-5 feet infront on the screen to even be able to see 4k resolution. As our eyes have limitations.
I managed to get into World Cup qualifiers on just a Xbox, controller tv and a bed you don’t need expensive things to be good it’s how much effort you put in your gaming that matters
I still use a 1080p 46" tv from 2009. It's working just fine for now. The only things on this list I have is the PS4 controller charger, and 2 of the 3tb WD hdds.
I use the philips hue on my pc with the 3 lights in my gaming space, the lights reacts to whats happening in the game! and when I'm making music, it can be set to react to the music and pan through various color pallets. Fun as hell. I know this was a console gaming video but I thought it was just too neat not to share!
Not a bad idea by any means, but there are some factors to take into account. Latency is a pretty big issue that not all projectors can handle. Since most most projectors run off a bulb, it does have a much more limited life span compared to a tv. In addition, because of said bulb, it generates a substantial amount of heat and the projector will make a noticeable amount of noise to vent it. That said there are much larger, more expensive projectors that can handle all these issues and I myself like to use a small projector to play games with family
ive been out of date on controlers and stuff since i started doing primarily PC gaming. I have to say alot of this stuff is not only functional but COOL looking too.
So just so you are aware burn in on an OLED TV like plasma's is a thing on those TVs so I necessarily would not recommend them for gaming. Especially if you play a single game very heavily and it happens to have icons that stay in a single location of the screen just clarifying as those TVs at minimum cost around $1800 for a 55in. Also ThinQAI is a simple re-branding of LGs smart system which was called Web-OS. Of course if this does not affect you feel free its your money after all. Also for those who are interested of the Samsung TVs that have the enhanced game (aka freesync) those models would be the NU8000 and the 2018 Q series. That being said you can only take advantage of it is via PC or XBOX One X. PS4 Pro does not support it. Also no mention of Sony TVs I mean the X900f is comparable to the Samsung Q8 or 9 and arguably is the better TV for the price in most respects the specs are fairly similar both have full array lighting, 120hz native refresh rate, and 10bit panels. I mean I could keep going but I'd rather not.
I have the Aim Controller for PS4, which I payed close to $150 for. The newer version now has 4 Paddles, which can be removed if you choose to do so. The paddles can be all be remapped. It also has the Aim Grip option which a bit more of rubberized grip to back of controller. You can choose between high, medium, or normal sticks, all of which support Control Freeks, and can be easily removed and swapped. They also allow you to completely customize the look and paint job of the controller, which includes Aim Grip color, D Pad Color, Face Buttons color, Share & Options Color, Analog Stick Base Color, and Analog Stick Top Color. They also allow to add your logo to the sides and/or touchpad of the controller if you so choose, but that raises the price beyond $150. Design wise, it's a modified Dualshock 4, so the shape is exactly the same as the original. Even still, I highly recommend the Aim Controller if you want a good pro controller with paddles and custom paint job for the PS4.
Got that tip from last year but our target didn’t have any so i got a mug stand instead. worked just as well! and i’ve got a proper stand now + the power-a recharge station. all i need is a better xbox and better tv sooooooo see y’all in 10 years i guess?
Just remove the console and the the hardware into a calculator. its portable, doesnt even need to charge because its has those little solar panels, its customizable, great graphics and good sound. I PROPOSE WE REPLACE CONSOLES WITH CALCULATORS Edit: You ruined it... You ruined it and im leaving
Scuffs on Xbox are shit. There is no excuse to pay more and get less with a scuff. The elite controller is cheaper and so much better. (vertical paddles on a scuff are unusable. Horizontal ones on the elite are actually good). And on PS4 I guess you really don't have many other options
Me personally I love the feeling of having a super dope gaming setup! Got 1 4kTV and 1080p for the non 4k consoles pro controller and headset for the PS4 pro now working on 1 of each for the new 1X ! I have some blue light bulbs but that light behind the TV is slowly becoming more intriguing. A nice lift top coffe table holds most of my extra accessories!( controllers tablets headphones! Looking into getting 1 of those computer gaming chairs and 5.1 soundbar setup! Love me some gadgets
I had a HyperX Cloud Core headset that I payed $60 for and liked alot. Gonna go for their HyperX Cloud Pro for $99. All the wires are replaceable and it retains a solid aluminum construction.
i do take care of my stuff, plenty of ppl had the same, the sticks just gets fkeed up after a while, look it up on forums and youtube, not an isolated problem, then again, maybe its all about luck..
I have 7 out of the 10, I have a couch so no need for a chair, and I see the lighting and the headphone stand as a waste of money so that is where I will stay. Great video!
Batman Arkham Channel been playing on pc for about 5 years now, only ever ran into 1 hacker/cheater, don't know where you got your information, but you obviously don't play PC.
I own the tcl R6 55 inch and 2 oled tv's and I was very pleasantly surprised on how the much the cheaper tcl tv held up, I would definitely buy it again and I am very picky when it comes to tv's. I literally scan the tv for dead pixels and I also check the see if the black levels are up to my standards and thats near oled black levels or something very close to it were the blacks are dark, really dark. In order to achieve this you have to have local dimming on the max level which I recommend and it does a great job. When I read the reviews on the tcl I knew I had to get one and I don't regret it 1 bit. I recommend it if your on a budget. Btw I was testing the tv with both the ps4 pro and the one x and I love both consoles just wish xbox had a bit more exclusives to show off their hardware. I also own the 2 charging docks for the xbox and ps4 on this video and I also recommend them, batteries always charged, I recently purchased the scuff vantage controller on the ps4 and I am very happy with it, best controller I've ever owned, the battery lasts a long time before needing charge but it does have a big price tag.
1 buy a pc 2 cancel your multiplayer subscription 3 enjoy your better graphics 4 explore mods 5 modify your pc instead of buying a new console every few years You’re welcome
@@Eduy02 You have to keep in mind pc has much higher standards than console. $500 is a computer that easily plays at consol level. A $1000 pc plays at pc level. There are a lot of extra features you don't have on console and to run them you need a more powerful system but if you can't or don't want to afford that then you really don't have to because you have the ability to turn down the settings. If you got your information from benchmarks or something then you should see that a pc play BF5 is getting over 100 fps at max settings at 1080p. Your $400 console is getting 60fps at medium settings (compared to pc) at 1080p. Not saying pc is better. Just that it's far from true that a $500 pc and run BF5 since a console can run it just fine with lower specs.
I just switched from ps4 to pc and a lot of these actually work well with a pc, because I'm saving up for a xbox style controller, headphone stands, a hdd, and a chair. I didn't see console in the title at first but this turned out to be a good accessorizes video.
The Energizer battery packs for PS4 has worked for me incredibly well. I also have a 4TB expandable memory on my PS4 and haven't had a single moment of memory issues.
For number 10, you can also get LED strips that use your TV input as a reference for the colour an intensity of each LED. It looks amazing and adds a nice immersive touch.

How much would an led strip cost, such as nulex or philips, and would it be at for instance a store like Wal-Mart?

I don't mean to brag but my perfect chair of completely made of hard plastic. And with the combination of blankets and pillows is somewhat not as hard to sit on.
I have ALOT of these. Only thing I really noticed that I needed was the controller chargers!!

Budget PC builds please.
@Jaiden Jones A console compared to a PC is like comparing a gameboy to an X-Box. It inherently has greater limitations and a general lack of functionality. You're missing out on a lot more on a console than a PC. That should be common sense.
Jonny5Fails if you get an PC that isn’t a budget PC
I3 8100 and gtx 1060 3gb
Boom u can run any game high settings 60 fps
And it's misconceptions like these that are holding back a massive part of the market from sharing in the experience.
Please do a just cause 4 early look

If you're going to recomend a 55 inch tv for 4k, you may also want to recomend sitting 4-5 feet infront on the screen to even be able to see 4k resolution. As our eyes have limitations.

I use my pc stuff on my consoles.
Who else has a gaming pc and also consoles?
Me
LG C8 tv does not disappoint! Even without a 4k console, the upscaling is incredible. Best decision ever
Why aren’t there any Soulja boy console accessories?
I still use a 1080p 46" tv from 2009. It's working just fine for now. The only things on this list I have is the PS4 controller charger, and 2 of the 3tb WD hdds.
Use a lamp for a headset stand, it just works well.
Or desk edge
Or literally your pc or mac
I use the philips hue on my pc with the 3 lights in my gaming space, the lights reacts to whats happening in the game! and when I'm making music, it can be set to react to the music and pan through various color pallets. Fun as hell. I know this was a console gaming video but I thought it was just too neat not to share!
Why limit yourself to a TV, what about a projector?
Not a bad idea by any means, but there are some factors to take into account. Latency is a pretty big issue that not all projectors can handle. Since most most projectors run off a bulb, it does have a much more limited life span compared to a tv. In addition, because of said bulb, it generates a substantial amount of heat and the projector will make a noticeable amount of noise to vent it.
That said there are much larger, more expensive projectors that can handle all these issues and I myself like to use a small projector to play games with family
Russell Tsai well said and true
two words... PIXEL DENSITY
A projectors worst enemy is a fly on it
The response time on it after doing an action would be terrible.
ive been out of date on controlers and stuff since i started doing primarily PC gaming. I have to say alot of this stuff is not only functional but COOL looking too.
You didn't bring up the cheapest headset stand, a banana holder.
No, the cheapest one is basic hook for $1 at any hardware store. Or even better, set it down on the desk/entertainment center for FREE.
i simply hammered a nail in the side of my desk and but my Headset on it.
I just hang mine on my monitor when I'm done for the night :)
Here I am using a PS4 Mini Controller cuz I can't afford a regular one
It ain't too bad tbh 😂
U never have to charge it either 😊

ps4 comes with a controller.
PianoKing64 L

Scuf sucks
Scuff is insanely low quality at insanely high prices
Lucas Ralby Xbox Elite already has paddles, they even said I the video
@@dawreckor Yeah I know, but I was more thinking about ps4
Scuffs on Xbox are shit. There is no excuse to pay more and get less with a scuff. The elite controller is cheaper and so much better. (vertical paddles on a scuff are unusable. Horizontal ones on the elite are actually good).
And on PS4 I guess you really don't have many other options
Me personally I love the feeling of having a super dope gaming setup! Got 1 4kTV and 1080p for the non 4k consoles pro controller and headset for the PS4 pro now working on 1 of each for the new 1X ! U know what would make a perfect console no.cheaters on line
Xbox. Xbox Ones security is really tight.
There are some hackers I think but they're EXTREEEEEEMELY rare
David Wasko wtf do you mean you must still be on Xbox 360 buddy I haven’t ran into 1 cheater since Xbox 1 Been our
Batman Arkham Channel been playing on pc for about 5 years now, only ever ran into 1 hacker/cheater, don't know where you got your information, but you obviously don't play PC.

5 modify your pc instead of buying a new console every few years
You’re welcome
It almost a decade for a new system
But to get a decent PC which gonna play the new games will cost (with monitor keyboard mouse chair and games) way over 1000$
@@Eduy02 i can build you a PC for $500 that can run any game out really good.
@@Domthewanderer na I looked up how much an decent PC would cost and for 500 you get an ok PC but It will not run bf5 fh4 bo4. So no
@@Eduy02 You have to keep in mind pc has much higher standards than console.
