Good Morning Lumnah Family, I like the wood and metal building combination. Just an observation. the angle you cut on the trim (time stamp 20:50) against the building should be angled the other way, top board being the long point to the outside, so water "shouldn't" run into your buildings. One other thing I do when putting up overhead boards by myself is to pre-screw/set up where the anchor points will be along whatever piece I'm working So less time I'm fumbling overhead.
Congratulations. Still have snow on the ground here in central Virginia. Didn't get any snow yesterday after they were calling for up to 3". Cold today, I think the high was 25.
Good cool morning(-7*) Gina, Al, Brutus, barn cats and all the Lumnah family&friends. Another endwall done ( visions of the old homestead) can't wait to see Azalea's calf, hoping for a heifer, Morgan has had some highland calves on his farm, they look like fluffy sheep when little. Stay warm, be safe !
Al, like many on here ...... I believe you need a shop table on wheels to do all your building. As always, beautiful job. Those Momma cows are going to be happy calving in there. 💕
Good morning Lumnah family! Hey Al, loving the barn. I noticed in this video, that the 4’ level had fallen over several times. At least 3 good impacts on the ground. Based on my own experience, I’ve learned that this can throw a level out of plum. You may want to check the plum of that level, before trusting it on an important project.
Make up a big sled for Brutis to pull back in all the stuff! He will pull it will have to teach him how to do it first. He will make short work of taking the wood back to the shop. Have fun. Paul in Ohio.
For your winter work and power tools, build an insulated work box with a heater mounted on the back wall just to keep the tools warm so you do not have to move them when you have to go to the shop! Can also add a battery charger to keep them available and a power strip mounted on the side for quick power needs,!
Been with y'all since before CWC! I was just thinking ... I'd love to have the $$$ you've spent just on screws ... I'd be sittin' pretty right now if I did! Thanks for all the work you've done, and for all the entertaining hours I've spent following you, Gina and Livy🙂

Hello from the state of Georgia! Our weather forecast says snow later today and tonight. Unusual for us and it won’t stay long like it does for you all. Nobody can drive in it, so it’ll be a mess for sure. Just wanted to tell y’all that I love your videos and watch every time. I don’t want to miss any of them. Be careful, take care of yourselves, be safe and warm. Till next time ❤❤❤
Good frigid morning! We are 22 right now in Virginia Beach and they are cailing for snow tonight. The barn project looks great. Brutus loves his snow cones.
I really enjoy watching you guys working together with Brutus who's always by your side. He never runs off which I think is incredible. I wish I was capable of owning a dog such as Brutus but my housing location won"t allow.
It's time to train Brutus on sled pulling. He could pull materials from the shop, or bales of hay, feed, alot of things. He's a working breed that wants to work. 😊 The run is looking calf ready..😂😅 Love ya'll ❤️
Good morning Al , Gina lumnah and family. The barn stalls look good. Can't wait to see the highland babies. Enjoy your videos. Currently -13 with a -28 Wc. Schools running late a few closed. Thanks for sharing.
Good morning 🌞 Al, I am wondering if it would be possible for you to go into detail about your chop saw and stand? I’m in desperate need of one and really like the versatility of the one you have.👍💪🙌🙏🌈✌️🐽🐷🐖
It's great that you have the pen ready for sweet potato, but I'm so glad she healed, squeezing out piglets while prolapsed would not be fun. Good that you had it ready just in case. You really care and ten for animals well - they taste better and are so much more fun to be around and love 'I like it'
It would be cool to see an aerial view of your property showing all your buildings. I don't understand where your house is in relation to the shop and barn. Thanks for all your work.
Good morning, afternoon, evening everyone! Stay warm and safe! Can’t wait to see the maternity ward to be completed. I’m sure it will be awesome! Have a Blessed day!
Gina & Al, I could sit around (with a warming blanket & hot tea. Hey I’m 70 and a bit disabled)and watch you work all day long. It mesmerizes me!!!! Love you all. From (43) Edgewood, WA-near SEA.
Greetings from chilly Colorado. Below 0 here the last few days. Glad to see that you finally got that table saw off the floor. Your back and knees will thank you. Thanks for sharing.
I use the Harbor Freight torch to melt the ice around the concrete and pavers…put your propane tank on a dolly and roll it around wherever you need it…get the torch that has the igniter built into the pistol grip
Pets are as charming as ever. Al and Gina are a well oiled barn building machine. Second verse, same as the first (except flapped over). Another good one! 🥸👍👀👋✅
Good morning all! Snowing sleeting in Corpus Christi area this morning. Car battery died and key slots iced over. I'll take that as a sign to go back to bed lol😅
Al and Gina, things look like they were always there from the beginning as far as the addition to the barn 👍also Brutus having some play time outside in the barnyard 😮😊❤
Hello from a cold UK - impressed with you barn extension- nxt project needs to be an extension to the workshop to put your machines under cover!! Love your animal family - the cats make me laugh at there game. Stay safe. How about some wild life photography?
Good 🌄 morning to the Lumnah Family and all visitors to the OGP! In Central Minnesota, we have -20°F with a wind chill of -30°. Yikes! And me with no cocoa in the house! Stay warm people!
I hibernated all weekend Damogran Heart. I hope you could stay warm and snug inside too. Our heat went out for a couple hours on the 20th but they got it up and running again. Have a wonderful week!
I just absolutely love to watch you developing your homestead. You have great choices in layout, functionality, materials of choice. Great job Al and Gina!
Last piece of the seal between the metal and wood trim angle should be from inside to outside downhill. Water is going to run in towards the barn if it isn't fixed.
I liked the way matched the entry on both ends of the barn . Kinda of an arched entry . The tractor reminds me of my wife's new car . Got to take off stuff to put in a new battery SEEYA
😀😀😀👍👍👍❤❤❤ Good morning Lumnah Family and friends! I watch you every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. 27 F and no snow yet this winter Bye for now from Seattle, WA.
It is probably the most expensive to. I’ve used the same run of the mill caulk line for over 40 years. I have some USA craftsman tools but I learned years ago a decent set of cheap tool works just as good and most have life time warranty.
Really enjoy all of your videos. Curious to know if after you hammer in those anchors if you come back and tighten them. I used to use them a lot for anchoring things into the factory floor and in order for them to have any tensile strength they had to be tightened. If you're only concerned about sheer strength then it's ok to just pound them in.
Good Morning Lumnah Family, I like the wood and metal building combination.

Too funny. When u 2 we’re extending the chalk line I thought u we’re going to fist bump. Had to laugh. 😂😂😂😂😂
Have you considered running a nose cone cover to keep the battery, radiator and engine block warmer during the snow freeze time.
Brutus is such a cutie, I want to hug him every time I see him on the screen and he always makes me smile 😊
Good morning, everyone!!

Brutus checking in with his cows. He's a good boy. A sunshine flavored popsicle.

🙋♀️ Hello from Spokane Washington!! ☕️🦋💕
Are you considering adding anti-crush bars in the pig farrowing pen to protect the piglets from being accidentally crushed by their mother?
Wait and see
I thought he said that’s why he put the wood up inside to keep the piglets from being behind her?
Make up a big sled for Brutis to pull back in all the stuff! He will pull it will have to teach him how to do it first. He will make short work of taking the wood back to the shop. Have fun. Paul in Ohio.
Kinda reminds me when you built the birthing stall for the goats in the lean to side of the barn/workshop on the original property. 😁👍😃❤️
Glad to see the DeWalt table saw is finally off the concrete floor. Not a permanent stand, but it's a safer option than before.

Love the woodwork ! you need to get a vacuum to connect to your Saws to collect all the dust.
Well, well , well. W3 here in south Georgia are expecting snow over the next 12+ hours. What a surprise us😂🥶
