Tack snälla, snälla Cathrin ♥️🙏♥️ Du lyckas lysa upp mitt liv med din vänlighet och ditt pepp ♥️🌻♥️ Hoppas helgen börjat bra och blir lagom kuslig ♥️🎃♥️👻♥️
Hello Julia! Amazing albeit very creepy project! LOL … I don’t do creepy but you did it very well… a go-zillion little details from start to finish! I love that you made a top cover for the coffin vignette box! I don’t even know how to comment on every gruesome detail but your imagination was in overdrive and you did a fantastic job! 😵💫🥴🤢😫😜 I love playing with Alcohol Inks… I have all of the Ranger / Tim Holtz line of inks as well as Maribu and Jacquard inks. Maybe that will be a fun project for this weekend… I’m wanting to play! I have Gary’s cards for next week (through 11/2) already in the mail so I want to take some time to just play around with ART stuff… although… I’m hoping the weather stays warm/dry enough this weekend to mow the yard one more time before winter! And I should do a few things around the house/yard/plow truck/etc. to prepare for winter… yuck! Another card project I’m working on this weekend is making some cards using patterned paper / embellishments with Unicorn designs for my 7-year-old niece to be able to send/give to her friends and of course her great grandma (Mom)! We had such a wonderful visit last weekend when they were up from Florida. She’s so sweet… just lost her front teeth! Too cute… I am also hoping to check out Vicky’s stone paper journal and using the items from her 2nd Stamperia release… I’m hoping to also finish September layouts for the YCS box and possibly that first October spread… would like to declutter the top of my big desk in my craft room and possibly actually use it??? I never craft in my craft room - I always haul everything out to my kitchen/dining room then haul it all back in… ended up just leaving it out here for the last couple of months but it’s taking over and I almost have to push stuff out of the way to make room for my my coffee cup! LOL Hope all is well with you and yours! Have a wonderful week, Julia! 🙂💕
Hi Sue!👋♥️ How amazing that you keep making cards for your brother ♥️ I bet they are much aprichiated! We dont send much cards here in Sweden. At most the card is something to ad to a gift and write their name on 😊 people ask me if I sell my cards but I always (almost) say no because I dont think there are anyone who would pay for the time and suplies put in. I rather make cards I want to do and if the style fits someone around me I will give it away. I love that you are helping your niece with her cards and with that brightening the day of those she will give to ♥️🎨♥️ 7 years is such a great age and when they loose a tooth it is so cute! I am happy you had such a great visit. I am always so grateful when family or friends get my kids excited about something and make them feel special ♥️ thats a gift in it self. You are truly on a creative journey and I love that you have set yourself up with inspiration and suplies so you can craft to your hearts desires ♥️🎨♥️ I am sure I will create with alcohol inks in the future but I will take my time building up that part of my stash. I have so many ideas anyway so I can wait for alcohol inks 😊 but it always looks so fun! Have you tried to lift alcohol inks with TH products? That looks like fun! There is so many amazing suplies put there, especially around the hollydays, but this year I have focused on building the base of my stash. I looked every where for the Snowflake dies that I liked the most (the ones I have now are second hand and not really what I wanted) I also bought alphabet and number dies etc. How do you like the new Art by Marlene and what, new, from Tim Holtz will end up in your stash? I hope you have fun this weekend and get to play with alcohol inks or what ever you feel like in the moment ♥️🎨♥️ I dont like yardwork or any of the things we need to do on the house. My illness puts a stop to those things and my husband has to take on most of it. I hope those things goes by fast for you so you can focus on creating ♥️ Have a lovely rest of your weekend and a great start to your new week ♥️🎨♥️🎨♥️
@@artsynotfartsy I will admit I have done more retail therapy than is healthy over the years and although I have regretted some impulse purchases, buying too many of the same thing, and I struggle with full-set-syndrome... Basic supplies are always a good idea and are used again and again. The key is to get ONLY the items you LOVE / NEED then enjoy actually using them! One of my nieces sent me a picture of a quote that says something like, "Buying, organizing, and using craft supplies is really 3 separate hobbies!" LOL RE: Alcohol Inks... I have enjoyed playing with them over the years generally creating backgrounds for either cards or art journal layouts as well as die cutting flowers and leaves, etc out of them. I've used the lift ink a few times and had good results. I've made a few Christmas tree ornaments too. I've had similar results using Grafix plastic paper from joggles as using the more expensive YUPO paper. IF you decide to try other colors, I would suggest getting a rainbow of colors (the ones TH released a couple of years or so ago are more vibrant and intense) and a small bottle of blending solution... play with them to see what you think. No one other than an alcohol ink artist needs 200 colors of alcohol ink! 😯😉 I better play with those today! LOL
Yay! It’s Juliaday! ❤❤❤ Holy zombie eyes, Batman! 😂 To open up proceedings with this was brilliant! I almost choked on my mummy foot and my wife almost spat out her pint of hacked raven-liver and lyme, we chuckled that much! Malin just said that this might just be the crowning achievement of your UA-cam career so far. For real. ❤❤❤ You never cease to amaze us. Never! 🔥🎃 As this is another work weekend I’m tired but your videos never fail to lift my spirits and I know that wifey feels the same. “Foolish mortals! Tremble before the might of Suthek as he brings the gift of… Death to you all!” Not only words to live by but also taken directly from the 1975 Doctor Who classic, The Pyramids of Mars and a story that I watch every October as it’s gothic horror meets The Mummy stylings suits Halloween so well. 😊 This is nothing short of a masterpiece, dear Julia! You are a star!❤ As always, love from the Nygren’s to the Bäckman’s ❤❤❤
My dear friends ♥️🙏♥️ I am always so happy to see a coment from you but extra happy this time 🥳♥️🥳👻♥️ I can not thank you enough for revealing where that quote is from - seriously! I have been wondering and finally settled on that it "probebly" came from Brams Stokers Dracula and called it a day... (And Samuel was of No help). But it has been naging in the back of my brain 🤯 (not enough to make me type it in to Google but still naging 😊).
