It gets difficult because your scaling depends very much on your I/O. Just because you have a 0-10VDC signal coming into the PLC doesnt mean it is represented easily in the PLC. This video is actually a step back from the concept you mention to just understand what the scaling function does without confusing the issue with what analog input card you are using. We get into those concepts in our later videos.
+Dhinz Muerong I think our forum at PLCMentor com would be a better place for a discussion such as this. There is a lot of back and forth that would be necessary to try and answer this question. Is your module rack mounted, what kind of module is it, what makes you think it isnt communicating, etc, etc.
Is there a video on AB Micrologix 1100 PID instruction. Seems like not many people have an understanding of that instruction. Its been a mystery as I have looked for 2 days on the internet an no one seems to know about it. The AB Micrologix manuals are not a great help either. I would appreciate if you could make a video about it. The closest one was from BTC instrumentation but it does not tell how the instruction actually works. Appreciate your work!!
I haven't done a video on micrologix PID. We do have a couple hours in a web class on controllogix PID. Also I would be happy to cover PID for the micro in a web class if anyone were to bring it up.
