Hey! I think that ATLAS and p-body were built for two different terrains. ATLAS was built like an orangutan, for more cluttered and diverse chambers. His compact body, heightened and elongated arms, and shorter legs; he seems like he's built for climbing, bounding and parkour. p-body on the other hand looks like he was built similarly to a running animal, for open spaces and fast timing. His tall and narrow body, longer legs and speedy reflexes makes him seem like he is built for running, dogging, and "flying." (with aerial faith plates of course) ATLAS and p-body are built for different terrains, but that is why they work so well together!
Socks, shoes, and hats Great observation!! Though, P-body has an unusual walk, he doesn't seem to move his legs back before using that leg step forward again. His walk looks alkward & I doubt he's useful for running.
