- We finally meet some big sharks from Soul Society and there are levels to these soul reapers... Byakuya is way above Ichigo's league, the way he handled him in 2 seconds was brutal af... Renji Abarai is also quite skilled, but Ichigo was able to defeat the guy almost which is hella impressive for the dude without a proper training that my boy Urahara is about to give him, he also save Ichigo's life. It was a brutal reality check for Ichigo and quite sad departure from Rukia who is going to be punished with death sentence?! These guys are not playing around and one of them is Rukia's brother...

All the Shinigami have the release to the zanpakuto. When renji call his zanpakuto name He called it with a release command. His command is Roar Zabimaru
Bleach, one of the big 3 shounen inspired all major modern shounen like Jujutsu kaisen,Demon Slayer, Black Clover,MHA,Kagurabachi etc .
After Dragon Ball,Bleach is 2nd most influencial anime/manga in shounen genre

So finally end of tutorial. This is Bleach episode 1 basically, or at least where the real main story starts cooking:)
Also Bleach :Thousand Year of Blood War arc is rated 9/10 with more than 52K votes on IMDb .This is the highest rated battle arc of all shounen (battle shounen)
Notice one curious thing. Renji was so shocked to hear that Ichigo could wound Menos Grande, that he even didn't believe it. But Byakuya telling about it was calm and not surprised at all. That was literally foreshadowing of Byakuya's power level, like "...able to wound Menos Grande? Lol it is nothing to me". That also means that Rukia wasn't quite correct in previous episodes when she said that no single shinigami supposed to handle Menos Grande one-on-one. More accurate to say "...no single ORDINARY shinigami...", and to top-tier shinigami this is literally nothing.
And, yeah, Bleach is all about "power levels", more than any shonen, except Dragonball, i think. Keep it in mind. Power of friendship? Strong will and emotions? Nah, power level difference obliterate you in a second.
