Literally the best when you have a group of friends like this where you can openly talk about these vulnerable and personal stories and not feel judgement but instead have the attention, empathy, sympathy, and support.
I started watching JKflims and JKnews when I was a teen but haven't watched for about two years it's so nice to see how the channel has changed and I'm loving the new content keep up the amazing work! Love you guys!
Steve's situation happened to me, I lived with my mom and taking care of her until she passed. Once she did my older sister came when I wasn't here one day and took EVERYTHING. Not saying it was things of allot of value but sentimental things that ( there's 8 of us) I'm sure we all wanted to discuss over. So yeah I washed my hands of her after that.
Glad Ryan's mom recovered from her heart attack. Glad as well that Steve's mom is in remission. I understand the strength it takes to care for a parent as Steve's mom cares for his grandma. It's not easy, yet it is done from love. Bart's mom is going to give his dad a run for his money and not make it easy on him, as she should. He'll learn even if it's the hard way. Need a part 2 of Anthony and Nick's stories.
Ryan’s story was his fault but why do i picture all filipino moms having high blood pressure and being passive aggressive and blaming u and saying dont argue bc of their high blood
After watching the video of Ryan talking about his childhood with his father and listening to his mom almost had a tragic i am amazed on how great of a person he is
So I totally remember hearing this story from your dad but you gave more details that it just really brings it into perspective. Love hearing about you Ryan.
YOOOO i don’t know if y’all are even gonna see this but i used to watch y’all growing up with my sister and all ! y’all was so funny i completely had forgot and a reeel popped up “circular jerk” lmao y’all still crack me up DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT STOP MAKING content im back and imma binge watch tf out of every video 🤣 y’all are amazing man hope life’s treating you all well!! much loveee
Honestly felt good hearing Steve's story because my grandmother recently passed away and it's been chaotic. My cousin and aunt drafted a contract behind all of our backs so my cousin could buy the house after my grandmother passed away (grandpa passed long agooo). AND, they would get to buy it at the cheapest appraisal rate, AND any renovations needed to bring the house up to code/living standard (who even knows) will be coming out of the money that would've been going my aunts and uncles. We had coin drama too, and apparently oil royalties in Louisiana? Wtf. Steve why we like this dude. Wtf.
this a real ass video, it’s nice to know we all really go thru shit, at the end of the day we realize that problems mostly come from misunderstandings…
It's funny how Bart and Joe's parents gaslight them the same way they gaslight Julia The second she brings up an issue from the past the blank expressions and, I don't remember that happening statements 🤣
@@Dave_of_Mordor it's no biggie! Just made me laugh but if you look up the justkidding episode where Julia comes on after she has left JK, maybe it was her hot seat?
I love you guys at Jk, both the old stuff from waaay back and the new. I hope you guys can find a way to bring back the feeling of those special features (like Julia reading a long article in a story telling fashion (ghat episode on the murderer in particular) and hearing the stories and advice y’all told throughout, or the Japan trip and Bart’s birthday from back in the day) you guys still got the magic, it just feels like the formula broke down a bit. Of course I don’t blame you guys for changing, if this is what’s sustainable, I’m thankful nonetheless!! Keep it up you guys!
i use to watch you guys btw 2015-16 and stopped since then i changed 3 jobs, lost last job due to covid, started working as ycm for youtubers since 2020, got married in early 2021, as of now i have 19 youtubers as clients, one of them was 13.8K subs in 2020 but as of now he is at 3.1M subs with 75M views/months. back in 2015 i had same question that i have right now. why you guys have so much less viewership ratio? back then i didn't know why but now i know. you guys didn't elevate your content based on time. same set, same viewing sights, even the intro hasn't been changed. i am not saying it outta insult but as a concern. back then you guys were among many who were my daily doze of internet.
On Barts story though, relatable! Old Asian dads be like that. They can’t live without a woman caring for them. Old asian women are like ‘f that! I been caring for others all these years. Leave me the f alone! I’m living the life now that my kids are grown.’ 😂 My parents argue about other folks going through similar situations at their age. my moms like ‘nah, you think she want that? I’m trying to get rid of you.’ Lmao
I’m the same as Steve. I am super blunt and I don’t take shit from people. Specially if they talk shit about my parents. Protect your parents at all cost. And I’m so happy to hear that Steve’s mom is in remission.
Holy shit. Listening Steve's story, it's crazy how it's relatable ! Me it was 3 aunts that took all the money of my grandfather who had died of Alzheimer's... family of 19 brothers and sisters who where in a secte 👌🏻 I'm not into that, nor my mom (since she got married at 16 years old). Anyway, I'm feeling less alone about being appalled by my family dynamics. Gotta had, a few too many, either got their stuff stolen by one another...even husband, that's more than fucked up. And I'm not saying everything 😬👏🏻
Dont ever think you're the only one. Most of us have that. You have a big family same as mine (Grandmother has 10 other siblings. 11 total) You're bound to have a few pieces of shits in a batch that large. For my case it's 50/50. So I've cursed out 3 of them and they're so fucked up even their kids (my aunts and uncles) won't take their sides. So yeah. Don't be afraid to give these pieces of shits a piece of your mind when the time comes.
Dayummm she got it notarized! But crazy enough... my parents had a similar type of dramatic relationship omg this shouldn't be that relatable, but it is 🤣
3:00 did he really blame you for something that was completely your fault 🤣🤣🤣🤣😆 people nowadays don't want any damn responsibility I would have if it was present day repeat the story as a grown up and say that was my fault that was your fault man what the hell for some weird little douchebag who ran away from home so not your problem
Biggest regret and huge argument with my mom when i was 22. kicked me out of my dad's house she didn't live in. Almost didn't talk to her for a year. Moved out within that year
man we can’t let this channel end the content is too good
Are they calling it?
Facts this why I am liking all videos and sharing
Literally the best when you have a group of friends like this where you can openly talk about these vulnerable and personal stories and not feel judgement but instead have the attention, empathy, sympathy, and support.
That story with his mum’s heart attack is so deep
He said it before. About his Mom's heart attack. But he did not say the purpose. But agreed to an extent. It is kinda deep.
And then it ended with the most Bart story ever
I'm afraid of meeting Ryan cause wtf
@@Rand0mL0ve serious, Idk if I wanna hear his life stories sometimes, you never f*ck1ng know what you're gonna get
and he’s saying he’s 16 at that time. he got lots more tragic stories happening after that (TJ, girl in comma, girl attempt suicide) he’s wildd
this episode was an emotional ride from feeling sad to dying laughing lol

im only watching this now, and this hits different
Yeah that bit at the end is funny but depressing at the same time😢
😢
I want to let you guys know that these off the records have been the BEST!! I love it!
Steven and Anthony's energy at the end is one of the top reasons l love this channel. JKNews is the best!!
Thanks!

Man this is sad kinda cause Barts dad passed away. But, the craziness I don't blame him.
