You both know how competitive it has become in UAE to get teacher job, as they need native speakers. I tried for 3 months to get any teacher job in Abu Dhabi but couldn’t get so I had to coms back to India. Can you guys please help me and others with some helpful tips. Also its a request if you can make video on ADEK approval or any other requirements in Abu Dhabi for teachers in pre primary school. What exactly school needs as per govt requirements and how can one get ADEK approval. That would be very helpful.

Hi Maheen, you can be considered but kindly note that there is a lot of competition and people have all the requirements being met so you’ll have to try patiently. Also check if the teaching qualification you are pursuing is accepted here.

Eligibility criteria to teach in UAE is - The degree in the subject you teach + the teaching degree (B.ED, M.ED, PGCE or equivalent) + 2 years of teaching experience. Degrees must be regular. Anything more that you have will be an asset Uzma.

Exam is for the license process. Eligibility wise you are fine with what you have stated.

@@SP-qs4ll You do not need to do PGCTL as you already have B.Ed which is a teaching qualification.
All the qualified teachers still need to do the pedagogy and specialization test which is to gain a license. There are other requirements like equivalency etc. For more information please visit MOE (ministry of education’s) website.
