I'd love for Special Guest Red + Slobberknocker to return with War Games added, more weapons to add to the wheel, improved Universe mode, and I honestly think that the current control scheme is pretty good when you get a hold of it and I personally like the timed pin bar, but not a fan of the button mashing as I have arthritis.

We need the feel of pro wrestling. At least give people the option to turn each unwanted feature on or off.
I know there's a lot of things we all want for WWE 2K23 and future WWE 2K games going forward, but besides wanting new match types, my #1 hope is creation suite gets a slight revamp to where we get some vast changes like an increase of alternate attires for created wresters, better organization for finding moves in create a moveset, advanced entrances being brought back, havin exclusive entrances be not locked, and for me personally, a major change to Create an Arena with new multiple venues, stage designs, and new additions like new turnbuckles, props, and/or barricades. Heck, the return of hopefully, Create a Story from 2K14.

How about banners hanging from the rafters below the ring, more arena templates including Smackdown 2000 arena, Raw is War 2000 arena, WCW Monday Nitro 1998 arena, WCW Thunder 1998 arena, and etc. More arena name tags old and new (like in both WWE '13, and WWE 2k14), old school announcement tables for CAA in WWE 2k23.
MyGM and Universe are the 2 that I would love to see big updates for. I felt so let down by MyGM's limits with 2k22. Still fun, but definitely felt like a starting point to be built on. I also think War Games could be a very good possibility if this years Survivor Series arena is included. It will stick out like a sore thumb if the match isn't in but the arena is. Also, I love the subtle WWE 2K20 in the bin for the Ridge Wallet ad.
One thing that i definitely think they should fix for 2k23 would be, when playing tournaments in 2K22 you can never use custom attires for some reason. You are never given the option, even if the wrestler you pick has custom attires. I don’t know if im the only who has this issue but this is definitely a thing they could work on fixing for 2K23. I don’t know if this is important to others but i thought i would mention it.
One match type is not going to make this an amazing game though. So much of this series is broken and made for children... The logic system needs drastic improvement, tag matches need massive overhaul,... I mean I could go on and on... This game will likely be horrible too. 2k22 is just not good...
If we’re gonna have a choice with the pin and submission system, it needs to be applied to all game modes, including ONLINE. Hopefully this quality of life feature gets added to 2k23.
I would like the hit detection to be a lot better. With diving moves, running attacks and combos. With some moonsault you drive outside the ring instead of when your indicator is locked onto the wrestler inside the ring.
I'd like Sycho Sid and Melina added. Also, the match types available in other modes should be included in MyGm mode. A customizable locker/office room like in Smackdown vs Raw 2007 had would be cool.
Regarding the legends to be added you can expect to see the headshrinkers coming to the roster as to prior to 2k22 being released it was confirmed that Samu signed a legends contract with WWE. I'm not sure if this means that Rikishi will be removed or if he will just have another model added though. So an old school Steiners legends would be a nice addition and makes since with Rick Steiners involvement in the company with his son.
What we want: Wargames, Soecial guest referee, belts to finally stop clipping through items of clothing and improved GM/Universe mode What we’ll get: improved “dynamic” lighting, a focus on “being a real superstar” (aka an over focus on the terrible MyFaction) and no new match types. I actively enjoy 2K22 and they changed a lot. But if they’re back on a one year cycle next years game is going to be the same thing as this year with new roster members and some buzzwords to make it sound like they’ve fixed it
To be honest the reason that 2K doesn't do new match types is because they don't know how to, I'm assuming they don't know how to implement them into a video game. At least that's the vibe they give off to me. In my opinion
What 2k needs to do is very simple. Make the game fun! Bring back and add in new match types, more options to the creation suite (like Create A Finisher and Story), bring back Road To WrestleMania, an Undertaker Showcase Mode, a Boss Battle, bring back backstage brawls, improve Career Mode/Universe Mode and My GM, and that's basically it.
After the developers gave us false promises with 2K22, I wouldn’t be too confident with the info provided currently, as they’re doing this just to entice customers to buy the product.

2K23 definitely needs to focus on online features. The game was great but there’s nothing keeping people playing it year-round. Online Royal Rumble, Online WarGames, Online Universe/MyGM would bring this game to life.
Glad CM Punk is still going to be in AEW Fight Forever that's great news since the game would be Underwhelming IMO without him in the game so the fact that he's in the Game is great and I can't wait to play as him and I can't wait for WWE 2k23 since WWE 2k22 was awesome
I don't mind the controls, it was fine in 2K22. All I want is OMG Moments back. They took them away to try make doing big spots easier, but ironically I find doing big spots in 2K22 much more of a pain in the ass then 2K20. Heck I don't think I've pulled off a barricade break at all in 22 while that was super easy to pull off in 20 with OMG's. That's about all I care about gameplay wise, I want the OMG's back. I also never use dodge or block, I get by fine with just reversals and combo breakers. So they could rework dodge and block into something else and that'd be cool to. But mainly I just want OMG's back.

The Draft (in WWE2K15), with animation (like on Smackdown Shut your mouth). 7. You can stack tables (in WWE 2K14). 8. Chain wrestling (in WWE2K19). 9. Different chair actions. (in WWE 2K18). 10. Might be asking for too much. But maybe a tournament feature option in Universe? Like an annual king of the ring or Dust Rhodes tag classic. You get the option like a survivor series rivalry and you set some people on the brackets. But idk how they’d make it work

I have bought WWE 2k22 at Steam while the black friday sale . My problem is that the game crashes often while matches with my wresters in the ring , I always get a error message that the "GPU was removed" . :(

I really need them to add more match types, arenas, and better online experience. WWE2k22 online lobbies and community creations feel like they're being held together with duct tape. Also, why havent we been able to use custom arenas online since release? 23 just needs polishing and variety

Would love to see 2K utilize the whole arena. Not just the trons, ramp, ring, and the special area with weapons. I want to see wrestlers seamlessly going to the backstage area with the gorilla like structure and fighting/wrestling in the backstage and going back in the ring. Also, maybe do a kind of The park version of wwe games. Wherein there are tons of rings in an area and players can wrestle each other. That would be awesome
I’d probably play myfaction at least a little bit if you could use the unlocked characters in other modes. If 2K want to maximise their income from it, they absolutely should add that.

Evil Uno said when it dropped that it was Key Art and may or may not be final. Later a report said it was done by THQ Nordic without knowledge of AEW or the wrestlers who were on the cover. Now we have updated Key Art that is thematically tied to AEW Dynamite and its surrounding promo art. Glad to hear Punk is in thus far.
I like the controls the only thing that needs to be updated such as not having to hit X on xbox to start every combo. So it's not always know how your combos are gonna be set up.
They need to add more attires to superstars like Edge ‘10 addition, they only do it for Showcase but I can’t tell you how much I’ve appreciated having Kane ‘08 and Undertaker ‘10. We want the Superstars in their primes for fantasy booking. Triple H not having his long hair sucked too. Also for a guy who grew up in the beginning of the PG era it would be nice to see some retired guys come back like Santino Marella, The Great Khali, Ted DiBiase Jr, Vladimir Koslov, Finley and Hornswoggle, Crime Time (if Shads family consent) and considering AEW don’t own his WWE image rights idk why we can’t have The Big Show in there
The thing about MyGM is that it doesn't matter if McIntyre vs Roman is the main match the CPU doesn't recognize this as a big money match instead Otis vs Roman is better 😑

Gimmicks aside, they need to put out a stable game that doesn't crash, delete saves. The Creation Suite needs some love as unlike the gimmicks, it's the only thing that keeps the game alive.
Please make the A.I more aggressive. Not a reversal machine but a fighter. Meaning if it’s 1v1 they don’t lose after a dig and a finisher if they have high pin kick out. Too many times have I released a pin cuz the CPU wasn’t going to kick out. I want Roman or Brock or ‘10 Taker to constantly kick out especially if it’s a title match or a big match
I hope 2K23’s MyGM will focus less on the classes. It would be better if we could just book wrestler vs wrestler without having to have the types match up like having Giants vs Cruiserweights. There’s a way around it by changing the roster to all be specialists but it would be better if we had a sandbox mode and realism mode.
As long as they remove the mode exclusive roster I don’t care what they do to MyFaction. If someone is in that mode’s roster than they should be available to be used outside of the mode for Exhibition, MyGM, Universe Mode, etc….

All I want is a wrestling game that combines Total Extreme Wrestling's mechanics with WWE 2K graphics where I can watch the matches. I never quite understood the point of designing wrestling as a fighting game. That is not what wrestling it is about.
WarGames is needed in the games. It'd be so much fun. Imagine if Regal comes back just in time to put him in career mode and we get to hear him say WARGAMES!!! I would love if they add different commentary teams and put Pac Macafee in the game as a wrestler and commentator. Shinsuke would have 3 entrances, one with Rick Boogs, one where Macafee dances on the table and Shinsuke by himself. I hope they give us access to create our own monitors. I'm asking for too much but it's a wishlist I want to come true. Also, to make the created characters look legit instead of polished. The hair needs more texture too and we need access to give different types of shoes/kickpads on each leg. Custom music and I still love Smacktalks Spotify custom music idea concept. It sounds so good.

I really hope they bring back special guess referee for 2k23 with no restrictions. The John Laryngitis thing was such a waste for that type of match. Also stacked tables and double team moves through a table(s) including 3D/ 1 and done. A proper 3d/1 and done where it requires two players and perfect timing hitting the grapple button. Just like wwf no mercy One button finishers and double team finishers and hopefully they keep the submission buttons to smashing the button that is shown

I think you can change the settings in 2k22 mate if that helps
In the settings you can switch the button mashing to timed button presses or joystick movements

They took them away to try make doing big spots easier, but ironically I find doing big spots in 2K22 much more of a pain in the ass then 2K20. Heck I don't think I've pulled off a barricade break at all in 22 while that was super easy to pull off in 20 with OMG's.
That's about all I care about gameplay wise, I want the OMG's back.
I also never use dodge or block, I get by fine with just reversals and combo breakers. So they could rework dodge and block into something else and that'd be cool to.
But mainly I just want OMG's back.
Same I really miss them so we don’t have to waste regular moveset slots on these moves.

Hi, how are you there? Well, the graphic evolution of WWE 2K22 (NBA 2K standard) is undeniable, as well as the return of GM Mode, it was also a much desired return. But the game mechanics unfortunately regressed. It would be great if the developers of the next WWE 2K would bring:
1. Possibility of rivals to focus on each other, in events like Royal Rumble, or Elimination Chamber.
2. Blows with tables and chairs, with opponent on the ground (in WWE 2K14).
3. You can climb Annotable tables freely (in WWE 2K14).
4. Double Title entrances (in WWE 2K14).
5. Use steel steps as a weapon (in WWE 2K14).
6. 15. The Draft (in WWE2K15), with animation (like on Smackdown Shut your mouth).
7. You can stack tables (in WWE 2K14).
8. Chain wrestling (in WWE2K19).
9. Different chair actions. (in WWE 2K18).
10. OMG Moment (in W2K20).
11. Squash matchs (in WWE 2K18).
12. Cage wall smash new OMG! moment (in WWE2K19).
13. Choose a Storyline (Rivalries, Story Collection in WWE2K15).

Might be asking for too much. But maybe a tournament feature option in Universe? Like an annual king of the ring or Dust Rhodes tag classic. You get the option like a survivor series rivalry and you set some people on the brackets. But idk how they’d make it work

I have bought WWE 2k22 at Steam while the black friday sale . My problem is that the game crashes often while matches with my wresters in the ring , I always get a error message that the "GPU was removed" . :(

I really need them to add more match types, arenas, and better online experience. WWE2k22 online lobbies and community creations feel like they're being held together with duct tape. Also, why havent we been able to use custom arenas online since release? 23 just needs polishing and variety
2k need to add an option for people to change the controls to their liking, plus make my faction online with better rewards and ways to earn them instead of just playing matches
The only thing I want is them to wait till the games in a complete state and also the hit boxes

One of the things I want is some changes and Adjustments to the Creation Suite. Create-A-Story, and the option to tuck or untuck your shirt in.
I only want WarGames if they can figure out the fix to the game slowing down to half speed every time more than 4 or 5 people are in the ring.
I just want 2k to adapt in like an nba2k esc neighborhood using the performance center

2k22 gameplay was great. But i definitely want to see WarGames and some more match types.
Personally me I hated the gameplay I just hated the arcade of it felt like a damn fighting game instead of a wrestling game.
They stripped the wrestling minigames and mechanics away. That killed it. Faster movement, okay, but don't remove basic wrestling:
Chain Wrestling, Working Holds, 5 Counts, Ignoring Ropebreak, Pulling Opponent Away From The Ropes During Submissions, Stamina (Fatigue System), Squash Matches.
We need the feel of pro wrestling. At least give people options to turn these features off.
Although 2k22 has no chain wrestling, no new fatigue system even no working holds feature
All I want for WWE 2k23 is Brand Commentaries,Missing match types including special Referee,Inferno Match,Casket Match,Buried Alive Match,Ambulance Match and More and I want More details in My GM,Promo segment in Universe Mode and Exhibition Mode In this Game and Create a story designer,Create a Finisher,Create a Referee and of course WarGames and Everything!
I thought about something last night, remember the cheat codes in svr games? They could go with something similar, with locker codes for example, to unlock the locked my faction superstars. It would be great

Would love to see 2K utilize the whole arena. Not just the trons, ramp, ring, and the special area with weapons. I want to see wrestlers seamlessly going to the backstage area with the gorilla like structure and fighting/wrestling in the backstage and going back in the ring. Also, maybe do a kind of The park version of wwe games. Wherein there are tons of rings in an area and players can wrestle each other. That would be awesome

I’d probably play myfaction at least a little bit if you could use the unlocked characters in other modes. If 2K want to maximise their income from it, they absolutely should add that.
Smoother/Easier universe mode, more in depth my GM, and actual drive to play myFaction is all that is needed

Later a report said it was done by THQ Nordic without knowledge of AEW or the wrestlers who were on the cover. Now we have updated Key Art that is thematically tied to AEW Dynamite and its surrounding promo art.

I really hope 2k just puts ALL the superstars at the start, instead of having to work for them.
I like the controls the only thing that needs to be updated such as not having to hit X on xbox to start every combo. So it's not always know how your combos are gonna be set up.
They are going to have to step it up with the next few releases especially once the wrestling code releases
They need to add more attires to superstars like Edge ‘10 addition, they only do it for Showcase but I can’t tell you how much I’ve appreciated having Kane ‘08 and Undertaker ‘10. We want the Superstars in their primes for fantasy booking.

The thing about MyGM is that it doesn't matter if McIntyre vs Roman is the main match the CPU doesn't recognize this as a big money match instead Otis vs Roman is better 😑

Gimmicks aside, they need to put out a stable game that doesn't crash, delete saves. The Creation Suite needs some love as unlike the gimmicks, it's the only thing that keeps the game alive.

Please make the A.I more aggressive. Not a reversal machine but a fighter. Meaning if it’s 1v1 they don’t lose after a dig and a finisher if they have high pin kick out. Too many times have I released a pin cuz the CPU wasn’t going to kick out. I want Roman or Brock or ‘10 Taker to constantly kick out especially if it’s a title match or a big match
All I want is for gm mode to have some kind of online or netplay
I hope 2K23’s MyGM will focus less on the classes.
It would be better if we could just book wrestler vs wrestler without having to have the types match up like having Giants vs Cruiserweights.
There’s a way around it by changing the roster to all be specialists but it would be better if we had a sandbox mode and realism mode.
As long as they remove the mode exclusive roster I don’t care what they do to MyFaction.
If someone is in that mode’s roster than they should be available to be used outside of the mode for Exhibition, MyGM, Universe Mode, etc….

All I want is a wrestling game that combines Total Extreme Wrestling's mechanics with WWE 2K graphics where I can watch the matches. I never quite understood the point of designing wrestling as a fighting game. That is not what wrestling it is about.
WarGames is needed in the games. It'd be so much fun. Imagine if Regal comes back just in time to put him in career mode and we get to hear him say WARGAMES!!! I would love if they add different commentary teams and put Pac Macafee in the game as a wrestler and commentator. Shinsuke would have 3 entrances, one with Rick Boogs, one where Macafee dances on the table and Shinsuke by himself. I hope they give us access to create our own monitors. I'm asking for too much but it's a wishlist I want to come true. Also, to make the created characters look legit instead of polished. The hair needs more texture too and we need access to give different types of shoes/kickpads on each leg. Custom music and I still love Smacktalks Spotify custom music idea concept. It sounds so good.

They really need to improve a lot. WWE2k19 way had more fuel in it than 2k22.
They should fix spam moves, freezes and give us myf stars for all modes if we got the card. I would pay for it.
A couple of things i'd like to see return are special guest referees and the ability to come to the ring with two championship belts

I really hope they bring back special guess referee for 2k23 with no restrictions. The John Laryngitis thing was such a waste for that type of match. Also stacked tables and double team moves through a table(s) including 3D/ 1 and done. A proper 3d/1 and done where it requires two players and perfect timing hitting the grapple button. Just like wwf no mercy
One button finishers and double team finishers and hopefully they keep the submission buttons to smashing the button that is shown
