Due to the annual Bay to Breakers race, SF MUNI is providing extra service along the Fulton corridor for riders to leave the Richmond District area, along with the Judah corridor with extra trains serving all N stops. Not surprisingly, the 5R (or 5X as what they called it) is served by around 10-12 coaches, all articulated coaches from Flynn.
With so many passengers boarding the buses back to Downtown, all these 5Rs get filled at the first stop at 48th Ave, causing some stops along the way to be skipped. As these 5R coaches only serve rapid stops, some local stops along the 5 are covered by rerouted 21, which will be on Fulton/McAllister due to the closure of Hayes Street.

YES! I ride both of those buses the most out of every other line, mainly because I live near geneva, and a battle would be sick!
Why does the guy at 4:30 just stand in front of the door while the bus is in motion? In NYC that is not allowed. The MTA bus driver will tell you to move in behind the yellow line.
