Traveling back in time when there were a lot of MCI coaches operating on the F, it was totally a completely different experience for a lot of riders, as these coaches are much more comfortable compared to the regular transbay Gilligs. Soon enough these MCI coaches got taken off the F and moved to the O instead.
Back then the 11:15am trip is oftentimes a MCI from Salesforce, and I rode it across the bay bridge and into the East Bay! I kinda wish that AC Transit is buying even more MCIs to replace the Gillig transbays, given that many of them are not even operating on transbay routes nowadays after the new signup, they are seen on the 7, 18, 33, 36 and 57.

I spotted a lot of Breda’s on L line the other day during testing. And of course, one of the Breda train said L Taravel to Embarcadero Station, it wasn’t in service at the time but it was interesting enough to see it. I was able to take a picture of it. And you do have my permission to use it.

This bus entered service on 6/26/2018 on the 8 line when it was running out of Islais along w/ few other upper numbered 6600's. Crazy to believe it's been a little more than 6 years already. 😮

I‘m watching this as a Swiss person and it‘s crazy how familiar this train ride feels just because it‘s a Stadler train (Idk if that makes sense lol). It‘s good to see that in North America at least California is trying to get good quality regional rail lines with overhead electrification.
