- Hey, y'all! Welcome back to my channel! Today's video is jam packed with Spring cleaning/decluttering motivation! I was so glad to finally get our master bedroom closet under control. It's truly such a weight lifted off of my shoulders! We also tackled the linen closet. So much decluttering!! I hope y'all enjoy and get tons of motivation! :-)

Since I tackled the bedroom instead of the kitchen this week, we will massively declutter the kitchen next week! As well as match our HUGE pile of unmatched socks 😂🤪 I hope this series is bringing you all the motivation to tackle those spaces you’ve been avoiding in your home!! 💕

Looks great! Good job. I have a suggestion- you could move your undergarments to your bathroom closet in a basket. That way you don’t have to have them in your nightstand.
I hope you do this series again… it’s my favorite you did!
Oh my gosh so pretty .. I think the brown pillows are perfect because it brings out the olive tree in the background and also the mantle
I would recommend getting some floor shoe racks (a have a nice one from target) that are like shelves instead of the handing one. Where you have the hanging one you could then hang all of your dresses, robes, and other longer items that sit funny with the lower bar under them on the other side. It looks great!
Great transformation Lauren! You are getting there one space at a time!! I would consider putting any medicines and vitamins on the shelf in your linen closet. Won’t be long when the wondering toddler moves faster than you😊

I got rid of my plastic hangers and bought the 10 pack thin plastic hangers from target. I now have more room in my closet!
Looks awesome Lauren 🙌 it’s such a great feeling when you open a closet/drawer and everything is organized. The challenge is to keep it organized 😂However it’s a lot easier when it’s you have a home for everything. 🫶
😊Hey Lauren loved this video, great motivation for me to do the same, one thing I’ve learned to store the seasonal bed sheets is folding all together and leave one pillow case to put everything inside that way it’s easier the next you use it you don’t lose any pieces .🌷
Love your video. I've been doing my closet in Roy G BIV rainbow format for awhile. I used to work at Victoria's Secret when I was in college and we organized the drawers that way so I started doing it at home 🙂

I did a massive declutter of my dresser and closet a few weeks ago and it was brutal. I was ruthless with what I decided to keep and what I decided to let go of, but the freeing feeling once it was done was so worth it! Great job Lauren!

A good tip for decluttering clothes is, hang all the hangers the opposite way to what you normally hang them, fast forward however long you choose, i.e 1 year, everything that is still hung the opposite way, is what hasn't been worn in all that time.

In all the years I have been decluttering I have never missed anything I have donated except one cardigan. It was a coral color cardigan that I realized I wore alot but wasn't in great shape. I found a replacement one in good shape at Goodwill. Great job cleaning out your closet! 👏

suggestion- I would move the medicines and vitamins to that upper shelf in linen closet where you have the linen spray.
I agree with moving the pills to a high cabinet or baby proofing it❤

Good job, Lauren! You might want to consider getting a shelf unit to go in that space where you have your hanging shoe bag. I replaced mine with a shelf unit and I like it so much better!

Wow Lauren, you did a great job. I know it’s hard to be that brutal but that’s what has to be done. Everything looks so great. One thing that has helped me is if I bring something new into the house I get rid of something similar. I do this even if I have room for the item.

I can’t believe how small the closet is!
oh my I never thought about vitamins being outdated. my husband was in a nursing home for 19 months prior to his death. Now all his med are no longer no good, I never thought about that until you said that, something else I need to do, I just saw is meds in the refrigeration yesterday. The little thing, every day that comes to you, then the tears.
