Oooh I am quite excited for this game. Card games with animals/nature, tableau building is quite a favourite genre of mine (Wingspan, Earth, Canopy, Meadow, Ark Nova...). Will definitely have to pick it up when it hits retail 🤭 thanks for the clear explanation !
@@kovray It was great! A very easy game to play on BGA and it is very fun. I think I am going to be playing this one quite a bit with all of the different creatures and trees. I love how well things work together but aren't so specific they are hard to get.
@@kovray Yeah, I saw in the video. Since everyone has various trees it needs space. But I meant the small Box. I love those. I have a shelf full of big boxes and four drawers just filled to the brim with small box games. ^^
After your last video about the game I started playing it on BGA. It's really good and I just love the artwork. I'm not really good at Forest Shuffle though (even though I think I won my first game ever).
Have you played Forest Shuffle? What did you think?
100 games in lol
The only odd rule is that there is no tie braker. Only happend once in 100 though so not a big issue
I loved it at first but now I'm questioning it. I really dislike the ending mechanism with the third winter card... it just feels too random.
@@Ryotbh I think once the first and second cards Re drawn everyone is really on edge hoping to wrap up anything they have going.
Nice work with this video. My wife and I read the instructions, but your visuals really helped us understand this fun game better. Thank you!
@@josephbarkovich2510 so happy we could help! This is one of our favorite games :)
Awesome tutorial guys, would love to see y’all keep making them!
We surely continue to try our best! Is there any game you’d like to see us do in particular?

Thanks so much for watching Ben! It definitely checks a lot of aspects we love about games.
Great teach. This game really had not caught my eye, but I keep hearing good things, and now I've gotta try.
Thanks so much Reggie! It is on BGA, but I will say it’s much better in person :)
This just came to BGA so this was perfect timing! Now I can't wait to jump into a game, knowing what I am doing!
Yay for great timing! Tell us about your first play once you have the chance :)

Thanks for the great video!
Thanks so much for watching 🥰
As always, thanks for the overview/teach Kovray! This looks quite solid!
Thanks so much Ashwin!
Thanks, this is a helpful video.
Thanks so much for watching! Means a lot
Well explained and produced! Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Omg you’re both so cute thank you for teaching me
@@Pollenoverponds You’re super welcome!
Very helpful! Thanks so much!
Glad we can help!
Ooooh, that looks awesome. I love Habitat building games with a small footprint. Gotta fetch me a copy. :)
Yessss, although this one does become quite a table hog once all the trees have been planted

I’m glad you’re getting some games in! That’s very fun :)
Whats going on with the cave xD
Some cards interact with the cave, letting you put cards in there, each is worth a point at the end of the game.
@@kovrayThank you! I feel like the cave wasn't addressed at all in the game instructions and I even read them a second time.
@kirafrendreis3648 you are correct! The devs must have thought the cards were self-explanatory. But yeah, bears and raccoons send cards to your cave.
0:05 they love more things than playing boardgames together - that's for sure!
We love lots of things! It’s always a joy to discover a new hobby or passion.
@@kovray Facts! I'm actually building a card-game with a foundation simular to Forest shuffle. I"ll send a copy when it's done :D
Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
I watched it several times but I stil ldon't get it.
@@markaceramos4498 oh no! I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have :)
Feels like half the rules were left out. Not a good teach.
Sorry to hear that! Happy to answer any questions you may have :)
