Oh, she took off. I thought it was going to hit the truck, truck was in crawler gear so she wasnt going to go alot faster. Main thing was i knew the tree and brick pile was behind me, but didnt know how far haha AEC makes for a nice tractor. Pulls the big RB no worrys
I picked up a Bucyrus 22-B a couple years ago. I truly thought I was going get it to scrap but I got there and bought a battery and figure let me see if the motor will turn. Mechanic said it hadn’t ran in 18 years. Was missing radiator. When I bumped starter I like to cut the one in half with me bc he was standing by the fan blade and that 1 bump cranked it. Never spun over once. I bumped starter and it cranked. I immediately killed it and drove back home and got a radiator off a broke 22-B and went back. Installed radiator, filled w/ antifreeze, greased for hours and sprayed a case of penetrating oil while working levers. It had oil & diesel. Tracked on Low Boy and took home. If could paste a photo here I would!
The good thing about a dragline is no will ever ask to borrow where everyone wants to borrow my Excavator. I say you can borrow if you can operate it and they put their head down!!!
Congrats mate
Great find
Love the AEC
thanks buddy, the AEC is pritty cool. so happy i saved it from the scrap man
Deadly Dan if he can't fix it nobody can!
Thats a nice slogan, ive been busy working on everyone elses stuff. Ill give ya a call soon.
The AEC sounds great. I was a little concerned about the 24RB rolling faster than expected when it came off the trailer.
