La Ciudad Del Sol: the Metallic Monks equivalent of Fallout: Sonora. It communicates so much of the atmosphere through music alone. The use of military chants, with the lone trumpet. It tells us an army approaches; an army born from the wastes of Mexico. And the fucking begin, it just sounds 'Fallout.'

the author of the soundtrack is at least very talented, at the most he is a genius. so many masterpiece music tracks with so many sound effects and layered musical textures. each track creates an incredible immersion in the atmosphere of the game. Developers are lucky to have such a composer. I hope he's working on another soundtrack now
Finished the mod just yesterday. La Ciudad del Sol is my absolute favourite track, it was so cool to find the New Mexican army garrison while traveling the map on the bike, and the music perfectly fits the place. Makes me wish a Spanish-speaking PC could join their ranks haha. Anyways, i think your tracks perfectly capture Mark Morgan's style and even surpass them in some regards. Congrats on your new job at New Blood and I'm sure you're gonna do great things with the soundtrack there :)

Отличный эмбиент для работы, учебы или размышлений! Когда обнаружил саунд к Fallout Nevada, долго его слушал, этот саунд сначала показался немного экзотическим, но потом как затянуло. Большое спасибо уважаемому автору!
Все треки офигенные, прям каждый подходит к той локации, в которой играет. Сделаны в стиле Ф1 и Ф2, очень бесшовно, как будто писал тот же композитор, где то сделано даже в разы круче в плане описания звуков локации, например Out-of-service и Garage city. При этом больше всего запомнились Motel и Jackals, трек вместе с гнетущим окружением прям до дрожи и мурашек на коже. Спасибо за твое творчество!

@@vladkovalenko1554 Yeah, 3 takes place between Mutant Rising and New Vegas, 4 takes place between New Vegas/Frontier and Cascadia if you're looking to play Bethesda's Failouts. If you're into Strategy games I'd also highly recommend the Old World Blues total conversion mod for Hearts Of Iron IV which starts off around 10 years prior to New Vegas on the West Coast

Map is still a bit empty and Ik everyone had their qualms about the ending but it's completely meant to be left to interpretation on your characters' origins, same thing with Nevada (although the only huge thing on Nevada for me is Vegas being clean and pristine when given the time frame, should have been littered with tribals and raiders)
@@MrKILLINOOBZ I don't like New California 'cause this mod is just a shooter that wants to look like FNV (in my opinion). And also there are a lot of freaky things like regenerating Enclave soldiers, a woman who can become a supermutant anytime, that just don't fit with the fallout canon.

Чемто напомнила музыку Алексея Захарова из игр X3
Само название, Nobody's Nail Machine, будто дань уважения Nine Inch Nails. Чувствуется, будто музло пилили для Quake, но не для Fallout. Звук довольно громкий, местами пульсирующий, и будто дышит в затылок, чувствуется, будто находишься в параллельной реальности, где само естество мира - это проклятие и мучения.

Hello, i Downloaded Fallout Sonora recently and unfortunetly after launching game i didnt see any information from pip - boy (informations like, what you see, how much damage you done etc, all i see is black screen, this screen i m talking about is on the left side from weapons). Anyone knows whats the problem?

Буду честен, в основном мне музыкальное сопровождение не особо понравилось, оно мрачное, да, но многие из них просто скучные и монотонные, но мне очень понравились темф меню, Виллы, Гараж Сити и мотоцикла.
Если бы Diablo 2 начинался не в Тристраме, а в Техасе, саундтрек лёг бы идеально.

I wanna say it's the sound effect of the radio from Metal Gear Solid 3.
Also, perhaps (not?) coincidentally, a good portion of Desert Rangers (the song with the sound effect you mentioned) gives me strong vibes from the Tanker chapter in Metal Gear Solid 2. But that might just be me.

So, how good is the mod everyone? Is it better than Nevada or does it compare to 1.5?
It's definitely better than Fallout Nevada
Better than Nevada, much bigger than 1.5 for sure, and personally, better too. Combat is easier, but there is a lot more content, cities and factions are distinct and unique, and the quest design is superb (also, who the hell thought Fallout was about combat anyway).
Better than 1.5 but worse than Nevada.
Nevada's crafting system was removed and some skills are almost useless as well as charisma stat(couldn't find a single check for it and there is no companions), I also felt that release was rushed and few locations were left unfinished.

@@thefork4458 there are some temporary "companions" you have to escort from one location to another. You can keep them if you want kinda like Tandi from f1. They also don't level up.

this is good but it's lacking the melodies of the original games. this is more just noise with exception to One Way. mark morgan ripping off 90s artists was a good thing. This is more like current mark morgan's work. Mostly ambient sound. and before some chui cheeki breekis , im not saying this is bad or not fitting, it's quite good, but just that you can't hum or remember any of it.
In my opinion, a good ambient track should first of all create an atmosphere in such a way that the listener could easily imagine the place the piece it describes.I believe that in the field of ambient music, the melody is not as important as in other musical genres. I understand and respect your arguments, but I personally believe that combining synthetic sounds with nature and/or surroundings sounds is crucial in order to create a deeper, better track than the melody of the track itself.

@@aaa80708 this is true, but the soundtrack's whole point is meant to be an imitation of Fallout 1's. This would be true for all of Sonora, as those who've played it describe it as such, atleast thematically.
