Kraftwerk is not just sounds , it's electronic funk beats. And Techno is not just Kraftwerk it's also Tangerine Dream , Klaus Schulze, Depeche Mode and many more non African Dudes from that time. Detroit Techno is just one of several styles of electronic music that was created at the time, it has of course black background as many other great music that was made at the time in America.

When people are miseducated about the orgin of Techno, that can determine if they would listen to it. "Oh I'm Black I don't listen to techno, that's white music!" same thing with rock and roll.
