I don't really blame Jalyn for taking a moment to herself in the locker room after not making it. It's clearly something that meant a lot to her. It's better to take a moment to yourself, cry if you need to, and recollect yourself for practice so it doesn't effect you the whole night. That's what I would do too.

I feel like they give every girl essentially the same haircut in the makeover and there are only like 3 variants of hair color - light blonde, a dark chocolatey brown, redhead 😂😅

In my opinion Holly is the best dancer/cheerleader that ever made the squad!!
I don’t think they will ever show Hollys journey considering she got cut for fraternization. 😭 probably embarrassing for them
We all love Holly. She was fabulous and could have gone far.

Jellicious11 really!? On the show they showed her getting cut but idk. I think it’s unfair that’s the cheerleaders get repercussions from fraternization but the football players do not. 🙄😤
Holly really killed it. Please do her journey. She deserves it!
Andjela Vasiljevic she really doesn’t. She left the team in disgrace. She only cheered for two years. Many other DCCs deserve to be highlighted.

No she doesn't. She was my favorite too but she turned out to have a shitty attitude and then became a jersey chaser, and broke other rules. We don't need to see any of that.

Megan Bowen it’s a rule in their contracts because of the stereotypes about cheerleaders being football groupies
Megan Bowen also if they date a player the player will try and bribe the associations and try and get more money for the cheerleaders and they can even sue the dcc. That’s why it became a rule in the first place because a cheerleader and football player dated and since the football players get a lot of money the football player sued the cheerleaders company thing for their girlfriend

Oh Holly. :( She was one of my faves. She was SO dang talented and fun to watch. I loved watching her rookie journey and fully expected her to succeed Jenna as the next point and pro bowl cheerleader. Really is a shame.

i like holly because she had some technique. and some of the others didn’t have any at all. i might be bias because i do ballet so technique is a big thing for me but I don’t know.

Has anyone ever made show group but then not made the team? Kelly and Judy always emphasize making show group doesn’t mean you are safe but show group is also for the best of the best so I’m curious.
I forget her name, but there was one rookie who got cut last year (2019) after she had already made show group. Her dancing was great, just what killed her was media training. She kind of came across as a ditz in a way and did not know what the Me Too movement was when she was asked about it when they simulated a television interview with one of the audition judges. Kelli and Judy cut her not long after that solely because she was on show group and would be more of a focus in the public eye. They told her that she was a risk if they did put her in an interview and to come back next year much more educated and to watch more news.
@happilymorgan No, she didn't make it into show group. It was another blonde. I couldn't find where she got cut in any of the youtube videos otherwise I'd link it. Ugh.

Are they even Veterans that got cut and returned and made the team? I know that Jenna Brooks got cut in 2012 but auditioned in 2016 not making trainingcamp
@@EmVee. Whitney Ott is the only one known so far. She wasn't really cut, but left for health reasons and returned to cheer for the 2005 and 2006 seasons.

I fell in love with the way holly had so much power and her dancing and everything was amazing about her I just love her

The thing that makes me so upset is how little these girls are paid considering all the work they put in.
They know exactly what they are getting into. Having DCC on their resume puts them in much higher bracket positions (if they continue their dance careers, that is).
Kristina I understand that they know what they’re getting into, but the NFL needs to be paying them more. The point is, they’re not getting paid what they deserve. How it looks on their resume is not an excuse for paying them so little. It’s like telling an artist they should work for you for free because it gives them publicity. Sure, they will get publicity, but their work still has value, and they deserve to be paid adequately for that work.
@@kayleashelbourne2135 100% agreed. There is no reason these women shouldn't be paid more. Its really unfortunate watching this show and knowing a lot of these young women are relying on family or savings just to get by on their small "salary." Sure practice is after work hours but I can't imagine working a 9-5 then practicing right after work till like midnight. If this is such a prestige honor where they're highly selective, and have the biggest stadium apparently they can afford better pay for the cheerleaders, period.
Kaylea Shelbourne yes but they are all so easily replaceable so many professional dancers. You get paid how easily you can get replaced

Great compilation. It's also nice to see the genuine happiness they show their team mates when chosen. Everyone deals with disappointment differently so Jalyn disappearing at the end was more to do with her own disappointment in her performance than jealousy

Okay so I’m not hating at all cause she is a beautiful dancer and does deserve to be on the team, but was there any question that Cassie (judys daughter) wouldn’t make not only the team but show group as well? Like I said she does deserve it cause she has had literally the best DCC training since even before she was born!

There were a few clips of Show Group audition where Cassie was dancing across the floor next to Whitney and you could see Whitney's straight legs and height. Cassie had bent legs and looked unpolished with her technique. Cassie made SG because of her mom.

@@priscillao1064 It was not standing ovation worthy. She was off pitch for the whole thing and couldn’t even control the tuning on a simple tune. Also, singing auditions are not mandatory. Therefore, if someone knows that they can’t sing in-tune then they shouldn’t be audititioning. They should have also brought in people who know about music because clearly Kelly and Judi couldn’t hear the tuning and control issues.

Gabby Baccam I think they like gymnastics and tricks for show group sometimes, which she excelled at since she was an all star cheerleader I think.

She was a world champion cheerleader for an allstar team in Texas. She probably just had strong tumbling that they used for show group.
In 1 of the videos I saw cassie messed up on the dance than stopped and said it was asthma..note this was during auditions for DCC and she still made the team. Lets be real how many others wouldve still been given a chance that wouldve been a dismissal

Don’t get me wrong I have no issue really with Cassie but when she said “if you don’t try show group for at least a year your really missing out” I was like okay well most girls do try their best and still don’t make it AND they don’t have their moms choosing the show group team either. 🤷🏻♀️
@@missysmith707 .....lol. ooooh the ignorance. Many legacies have been cut from the team. And they made Cassie's journey with the DCC as fair as they possibly could. She shouldn't not be able to be on the team because of her mom either. It took her, what?...4 years to become a group leader? She was never point of the triangle. Like come on bro. She didn't just have everything handed to her. And they did things differently with her in the audition process to make it more fair.
edit- and it's pretty ugly of you to comment on her looks...like seriously?...You don't need to be a supermodel to make this team....women way less "pretty" than Cassie have been on the squad. And I hate even saying that because I'm not that shallow. I'm only saying it to YOU to make a point.
edit2- AND It's not only Judy's vote that counts? The hell? Several judges had to vote for Cassie for her to make it. And given the way they did Cassie's audition to even make the squad, I'll bet you Cassie's votes were unanimous so there would be no feelings getting hurt involved incase she didn't fairly make it.
