Great video , my friend . I always appreciate the time and dedication that you put into your videos and your honesty . Though I have had my 2600+ for a week , I haven't even opened it yet . I am excited about it but I have also had my Atari Gamestation Pro for about a month and still don't have my video finished on it yet . Work and health issues have taken priority as always . My Atari Gamestation Pro video should be out soon though .

Asteroids Attack should work (I don't know why). Hero 2 just will work after copy number 200 (We fixed it) and Pac-Zuma will not work because the menu to select the games. Great video.
The AtariVox and Savekey do not work yet... maybe a firmware update will fix this. It recognizes them, but they do not function. I don't know why Asteroids Attack doesn't work either... it did for Mike I think...

Some people play games like that better with certain controllers because of your muscle memory with that controller, so I get it!!

To say the modern Atari VCS "won't be supported" by Atari is silly...when you are making a video about them not only supporting...but re-releasing a console from almost 50 years ago!
They don’t need to support it, because the games are already made. The new VCS will go the same path as all consoles, such as the the original PS1, XBox, etc…
As usual for Atari dating back to since the Tramiels took over, this is an unnecessary fail. This offers nothing you can't get elsewhere. Just play the ROMs on a PC using Stella and save your dough.
There are a number of things wrong with this. But I do like it in other ways. It's not for everyone, that's for sure. Atari should have waited until they had it working 100% and tested. It's an emulator, and as such won't play every game no matter what. If it were a true Atari 2600 clone, it would have cost $300+
I disagree. Can't beat the nostalgia feeling of real cartridges and the original joystick. Definitely makes the experience better.
I agree with that. My point is that is that it has its flaws, and it’s not a true console like the original. It’s just an emulator. But I do like it. Trust me… I get the feeling of nostalgia when playing it myself!
With the update at AtariAge under the 2600+ forum marked "Experimental"... Every game I own(including Pitfall 2) now works. The one issue that still affects me is the controller for Star Raider isn't supported yet.
For me personally, this console is wonderful and better than my Retron 77 imo.
