    Proud to be a Bengali Railfan...that my state has country's best (till date I'm writing) Electric Locomotive Works...who are able to have records in production and quality and variety all...glad to be Bengali. The factory is not so distant from a relative's house in Bardhhaman.

      @the creator Gyan ki Bohot Kami ha tummha, Train set locomotive lobby ki waje se Nahi Ruk Raha ha,
      India me aisa train chaiya Jo jarurat pare to chota yeah bara Kiya ja sakhe ,train sets me coaches add or decrease Karna muskil ha. Jab ki yah locomotive me asan ha,
      Or 'push-pull' method par yah train sets ki Tarah hi Kam karta ha. So it's more convenient.
      Famous WAP-7 CLW ne hi banaya ha , Jo India ke liya ak grav ki bat he,
      WhatsApp University se paroge to yahi hoga.

      Agar GOVT dimand karegi to CLW banayega, Jaise privious old stem engine se aj ke electric engine me convart huya. To yeah question CLW ko nahi balki GOVT ko Karo.
      Kahi tumhara GOVT private players ko mouka dene Ka nam par Jan buj Kar sarkari companies Ka gala to nahi ghot Raha ha.

    CLW is Pride of Railway and India. Without CLW, Indian Railway is nothing. CLW not only a Workshop, its a Brand of Railway. Thank You CLW to modify our Journey smoother, faster and easier.

    New wap5 for Tejas and it's coaches expected to be more sharp design like TGV or Eurostar trains in Europe. More attractive look is expected. Please keep it up.

    There have been some good progress in the locomotive section. But there needs to be serious introspection regarding the designing...we are now in 21st century.

    A very good and informative clip, the CLW& the ICF,aretwo Eyes of IR one rolls out Locomotives, second one passenger coaches.Iwas lucy to visit ICF near Chennai in1958,we are proud to have such world class Government Manufacturing Units,even Exporting Railway Rolling Stocks to developing countries,I humbly SALUTE The Work force of CLW and ICF and other manufacturing units of our Railways.

    Our coaches have become way more aesthetic now. They are being maintained well. Now we want attractive colors and glossy, clean paint scheme for our locomotives. Ex. Wap 12 looks stunning. We want other locomotives to look attractive and may be grey and red theme can be used to match with LHB rakes

    I have only one request to CLW, please start the manufacturing of WAP-4 locomotive again which was stopped in year 2015.Because I love WAP-4 ❤️❤️locomotive very much than WAP-7 and WAP-5.Even WAP-4 was the most successful locomotive for the Indian Railway passengers train and it hauling capacity is more than WAP-7, WAP-7 have capacity to hauling only 24 coaches of passenger train but WAP-4 has capacity to hauling 26 coaches of passenger train. In electric locomotives my favourite locomotive is only and only WAP-4, I am very sad 😔😔when I get news of CLW stop manufacturing of WAP-4 locomotive,please start the manufacturing of WAP-4 locomotive again. Thankyou !!

      Yes my dear friend we missing both WAM-4 and WAP-4 because these locomotive introduced real electric locomotive speed to passenger train from year 1995 to 2019 and both were most successful passengers train locomotive.But after WAP-5 and WAP-7 introduce both WAM-4 and WAP-4 get less value that’s why I angry on WAP-5 and WAP-7 I totally dislike WAP-5 and WAP-7, always old is gold both WAM-4 and WAP-4 are very good locomotive but I like WAP-4 very much because it hauling capacity is 26 coaches of passenger train and able to pull 26 coaches at the speed of 140 kmph which WAP-7 not able to do that performance. That’s why I like only and only WAP-4 locomotive.WAP-4 is very handsome and beautiful than WAP-7.Even when I journey I wish to god for my train get only and only WAP-4 locomotive. WAP-4 with both ICF and LHB perfect combination ❤️❤️❤️

      Sorry my dear friend I not able love WAP-7 and WAP-5 because they are only the reason for stop manufacturing of my favourite locomotive WAP-4.

      Jiske bare me pata na ho uspe baat nhi karna chahiye, CLW me pehle ak screw bhi khud se banaya jata tha abhi sab import hota hai..CLW me abhi sirf assemble hota hai, khud se kuch nhi banta.Isko privatisation karne ka sampurn koshish ho raha hai. Me isi CLW city se hu isi liye sab pata hai mujhe.

    We are the best rail network in the world but need more developments in our locomotives like can all the locomotives of Indian railways get this tejas wap 5 sort of design? It would save a lot of energy moreover facilitate operations of train at high speeds

    India should concentrate on building a locomotive which is as powerful as WAP 7 and capable of providing speed as good as WAP 5 for passenger train movements. Because we want more locomotives capable of running with speeds with which WAP 5 can pull a passenger train. But unfortunately we do not have that much.

    Aerodynamics doesn't mean just redoing the front of engine with a pointed nose.
    The front pockets for the side lights should be avoided and should be made flush with the sloped front.these kind of protrusions are not advised for an aerodynamics design. The mesh gaurd for the front window should go and toughned glass flush with front panel put in place.the entire top of engine should be covered by streamlined panels with no sharp corners except for an opening for the pantograph. The cross section of engine should not be rectangular.Lets hope the designers take note of these aspects in their next design.🙏🙏you may provide toilets for poilet. Higher some foreign companies designer or technology transfer of engine body .you did good try but truth is truth.we are in 2021not in 1940. we expects masterpiece from you.atlast it is on you.🙏🙏.Make us proud.thank you.

    Kindly focus on making a locomotive which has good power as well as 250+ kmph speed. If not 250+ then atleast 200+kmph with capabilities of pulling 24 coach passenger train for long distances.
