Fix Your Camper Fridge (explained in easy terms)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 1 кві 2022
- Follow along as I troubleshoot my Norcold 2-way camper fridge and explain a few basic items that you can fix yourself and avoid expensive dealer costs. If you have a different brand fridge, that's OK. Most RV/ Camper refrigerators operate the same way.
Norcold Fridge Parts I used:
Thermocouple: amzn.to/35rMv8a
Electric heating element: amzn.to/3tR87Ec
Thermocouple interrupter: amzn.to/3IRfTlF (May be out of stock)
Just for fun:
Electric Fly Swatter: amzn.to/3NzAC11

Very cool Randy. Definitely a good way to save money. If you get some good tips on keeping the mice out that is a million dollar idea. They seem to get everywhere.
I've been looking at other used campers for sale, and every single one of them has had mice in them. In one camper, the stink was so bad I couldn't even go inside it. Maybe I should look into making that million dollar idea. It feels like they have already destroyed a million dollars worth of my stuff!
Great video I too love to fix this on my boat 🛥 and camper this year I’m going to put on a new awning fabric Thanks from Wisconsin
It seems like everything needs fixing in the spring. Where are you getting your new awning material? I'm looking to buy a new camper. Not all have good awnings.

@@robertdoyen5434 Thanks. I'm going to pick up my new (used) camper tomorrow.

Tons of tips for camper owners. You have some squeaky clean mice with those dryer sheets! 😂Fridge work, toilet refreshing and more! I’m off to stick my face in the fire with my fly swatter 🔥
I know you think I'm crazy, but go get yourself a fly swatter and see for yourself. There's got to be a good idea we could patent in there somewhere.
Great video
I hope it helped. Thanks Martin.
Thank you Randy, really informative and helpful 👍
I'm glad it helped. Thanks for watching.
Had to deal with the same issue when I worked with the USFS in California....Everything was gas and the electric was from a generator🤬.....A reel PITA!!
It seems like something always needs fixing. I will always have something to do around here. Thanks Wes.
Some great information my friend big like 👍
Great job but you forgot to do a propane drop down test before and after.
Thanks for the info. You're right, I should have done a drop down test.
Mice hate Irish Spring Soap. Buy a couple bars and place them in problem areas and possible entrances.
I thought Irish Spring deters mice too, but then I watched videos of mice eating the soap. When I bought my camper, someone had put soap in there, and it had chew marks all over it.
has to be the green solid original soap I think. Not the new versions. . . rubber snakes are good too@@GoMidwestFishing
@@rockporttigger7138 I never thought of using rubber snakes. I'm going to try that one.
we used to put rubber snakes in our fruit trees to keep birds and squirrels out too. . .@@GoMidwestFishing
